Eating food inEnshroudedis optional; there is no hunger bar that provides negative stats if low. Still, eating food can provide several helpful benefits to help with combat and exploration. One such food item that you can eat is the humble strawberry.
In this guide, we are going to go over where you can find strawberries in the wild, as well as how to grow this crop at your base so you can avoid the trek. Strawberries aren’t found too close to your first base, so you will need to do a bit of preparation in terms of armor, weapons, and healing items.

Where To Find Strawberries
Strawberries arefound in Revelwood.This is an area of the world withlarge trees and dense forests. If you have been to theRevelwood Ancient Spire,you’re able to simply teleport there and then head down to the ground in search of Strawberries.
If this spire hasn’t been unlocked, you will need to venture there from a further location. On the map above, you can see asimple path to reach an area with several strawberry bushes.This starts from theSpringlands Ancient Spire,which is unlocked fairly early into the game.
To get here, you can glide north from this spire,straight into the Shroud where Moth’s Grove is found. Cross through this area, and you will be on the lower edge of the Mistbury Catacombs, which is above the Hill of Scavengers.Continue north on the east side of the catacombsuntil you hit a deep, Shroud-filled area,Along this rim to the right,you can find plenty of strawberries,
Overall,we highly suggest visiting the Revelwood Spireso you can easily get to this portion of the map.
How To Farm Strawberries
With theFarmer NPC, you will also be able to farm strawberries right from your base. To do this, you will firstneed to have a seedbed,which can be crafted from the Farmer with the following materials.
With all of these materials, you can craft andplace the seedbed anywhere in your base.To create strawberry seedlings, you will need tohave at least one strawberry. If you do, head to the seedbed and select the recipes button. Here, you can see all the seedlings possible.
To makefive strawberry seedlings,you will need the following materials.
After ten minutes,five seedlings will be produced, allowing you to place them anywhere. After growing for a period of time, you’re able to collect your strawberries;this removes the entire bush, meaning that you will need to make more seedlings if you want a new one.
What Are The Benefits Of Strawberries?
So, what exactly is the benefit of strawberries? This little fruit provideshealth regeneration,which is always helpful. Eating one strawberry willprovide three points to your health regeneration for 30 seconds.This is one more point than the normal purple berries that you can find.
Although are two separate foods, you can’t eat both berry types at the same time. Once you have a health regen buff active,you will not be able to activate a second one.As such, we suggestusing strawberries over normal berries.
