Sparks are a key component of upgrading your Flame Altar inEnshrouded. Specifically, these will help strengthen the flame, which gives you a variety of benefits, such as more time in the Shroud. While these little fiery orbs can be a bit rare, it’s possible to farm them.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to obtain Sparks. This will include where they are typically found, as well as some example locations on the map. It’s important to note that Sparks do not respawn; once you grab a Spark, it will not reappear in that area again.

Where Do Sparks Come From?
Sparks come fromFlame Shrines and Sanctums, which are scattered throughout Embervale. By interacting with the circular flame, you will receive Sparks. It’s possible toget more than one Spark at a timewhile doing this, and all new Flame Shrines willhave at least one Spark.
Flame Sanctums arelarge structures that you can enter,filled with various decorations and loot for you to grab. Flame Shrines, on the other hand, aresmall areas that are outdoors.You can also find loot around them, but the shrine itself is just a tiny little structure.
Where To Find Flame Shrines And Sanctums
Flame Shrines and Sanctums areboth marked with the same icon, as shown above. This little flame icon willappear once you get close enough to the shrine or sanctum,and will remain on the map indefinitely.
So, where do you find these locations? We’ve marked a few on the map above, as well as listed these spots below; there are tons of shrines and sanctums around the map though. Overall,try to explore as often as possible; you never know when you may run into a Flame Sanctum in the middle of the wild!
To avoid visiting the same location twice, we suggestputting a marker down on shrines and sanctums that no longer contain a Spark.
What To Do With Sparks
As mentioned earlier, Sparks are primarily used tostrengthen the flame of your Flame Altar.For example, to upgrade the flame to level four, you will need ten Sparks.
Overall, it’s important to grab the Sparks from any shrine or sanctum that you see. If you don’t need them at the moment, you’re able to save them in a chest. When the time comes, you will have enough Sparks on hand.
