While you start off alone inPalworld, there is plenty of life around the different islands. Not only are there colorful and dangerous Pals to collect and train, but there are different merchants for you to interact with. These merchants are not found right away, and you’ll need to know where to look.

Thankfully, we’ve gone out and braved the dangers of the wilds to find merchants for you so you can save time and head right to them. Here’s everything you need to know about merchants in Palworld, including where to find them and what they can do for you as a Pal tamer.

Where Can You Find Merchants

Merchants can befound at settlementsacross the map. Settlements will have not only merchants but alsopolice and other citizenswho live there. These areas are generally safe from dangerous Pals and willhave fast travel markersfor your convenience.

Make sure to activate the fast travel markers so you cango between your base and the settlement easily.

There arethree main settlementswhere you’ll easily be able to find merchants for all of your buying and selling needs.

Small Settlement

The first settlement you can find is small, butnot far from the original spawn point. Head northwest until you see smoke rising above the trees–this indicates that a settlement is nearby.The coordinates are 73, -485.

Duneshelter

The second settlement,Duneshelter, is located in theDessicated Desertat coordinates 356, 346. You will need some heat protection for the day and cold protection for the night if you plan on spending some time in the desert after visiting this settlement.

Here you’ll find two Wandering Merchants, a Pal Merchant, as well as a few random citizens.

There’s a glitch with this settlement, where theNPCs inside glitch below the settlement. When you arrive in the village,leave to the title screen, then go back into the game and they should all be there.

Fisherman’s Point

The third settlement in the game,Fisherman’s Point, is at the base ofMount Obsidian, and you can find it atcoordinates -479, -745. You shouldn’t need heat protection while visiting the settlement, but if you plan on venturing deeper into the volcanic region of the mountain, you will.

Here you’ll find two Wandering Merchants, a Pal Merchant, a PIDF Officer, and a few villagers.

Other Locations

In addition to the settlements,Wandering Merchants can be found in three other locations. If you happen to be exploring and you come across one, be sure to talk to them to see what they have for sale.

The Wandering Merchantmay also visit your basefrom time to time, so keep an eye out for visitors.

Types Of Merchants

There areseveral merchants you’ll run intoin your travels, and they sell different things. Knowing what merchant you’re looking for will help you plan your trips accordingly.

The Wandering Merchant

There are actuallytwo different types of Wandering Merchantsyou’ll find in the settlements.

Some of their inventory will beslightly differentdepending onwhich settlementthey’re located at, but the types of inventory remain the same.

Green Merchant

You can alsosell either of the Wandering Merchants any goods you haveto make gold as well. Toggle between the buy and sell menus to see how you can get what you need at a reasonable price.

The Pal Merchant

ThePal Merchant buys and sells Pals, though they’re a bit on the pricey side. It will cost you several thousand gold to purchase just one Pal, and his stock changes.

Thankfully, you’re able to make a fair amount of gold byselling Pals from your Palbox to them. All those extra Pals you’ve been collecting for experience bonuses or to use at your base can serve an additional purpose–making money.

Sell unwanted or unneeded Palsto the Pal Merchant for extra gold, andfree up space for more Pals to collect.

The Black Marketeer

The Black Marketeer deals in thebuying and selling of illegal Pals, which are usually Pals that you might find at the Wildlife Sanctuaries.

you may find the Black Marketeerin a couple of mineshafts, but there are alsoa few other areas where he tends to show up.
