The world ofPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownis surprisingly dense, which means that it can be a little tricky to navigate at times, especially with most of the map covered up by fog until you either explore enough orpurchase maps from Fariba.

Even with the map uncovered, Mount Qaf is so huge and winding that it can still be quite a challenge to explore at times. Luckily, as you explore more of the world, you’ll come across fast-travel points in each section of the map that can be used to more easily return to areasthat you’ve been to. You’ll need to find them first, though, and that’s where we come in.

What Are Fast Travel Points

As you explore Mount Qaf,you’ll sometimes see purple and blue glows in the corner of the screen. This indicates that a fast-travel point is nearby. When this happens, you need to find a purple orb and hit it with your swords to break it, which causes a fast-travel point for whatever area you’re in to become available to use.

Fast-travel points are usually located right next to a Wak Wak tree, so whenever you find a new one of those, verify to look around for the nearby fast-travel point.

Once you’ve done this, the fast-travel point will also pop up on your map, and be available to travel to whenever you find another purple orb to smash. Unlocking these points is key to getting around Mount Qaf as quickly as you can, so make sure that you take the time to unlock each one.

Lower City

The Haven

The first fast-travel point that you’re likely to encounter in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is for the Haven section of The Lower City. This part of the game acts as a hub for Sargon and a few other NPCs, and is where you’ll upgrade your weapons and purchase new items. Once here,go to the upper left part of the Haven to find this essential fast-travel point.

Scholars' Area

The next fast-travel point in the Lower City can be found not too far from the Haven.Keep going to the left of the big statue you have to climb as part of the game’s first main quest, and you’ll find a Wak Wak tree. Right next to that tree is a handy fast-travel point.

The Depths

Shallows

Next up we have The Depths, another area you’ll visit early in the game. To find this fast-travel point, go to the location marked on the map above, right next to another Wak Wak tree. This fast-travel point can be found by going to the left when you first drop down to this areaas part of the main quest.

Catacombs

The next fast-travel point that can be found in The Depths is a bit further away from the Shallows fast-travel point. During your visit to this area, you’ll visit the Catacombs, a dark series of tunnels that is lit up with a spirit from a Wak Wak tree.Once you reach the section of the level with three heads on the wall, go to the left and you’ll find a Wak Wak tree and a fast-travel pointnext to one another

Sacred Archives

Next up, we’re going to visit the Sacred Archives, an important part of the map thateventually gets you the Clairvoyance Time Power.Once you get here from the Lower City, go to the left and up to eventually find yourself in the room marked on the map above. You’ll find this fast-travel point to the right of another Wak Wak tree.

Temple Of Knowledge

You’ll unlock the next fast-travel point by heading further up in the Sacred Archives area. Go to the point marked on the map above, which is right near the tip-top of the whole section of the map. You’ll see this fast travel point, surprise surprise, right next to a Wak Wak tree.

Upper City

Day Temple

Although the rest of the sections of the map only have a few fast-travel points, the Upper City has tons of them so you might as well get comfy here. To find the first one, the Day Temple, you’ll need to head to the left when you reach the Upper City. After riding a platform upwards, you’ll find the fast-travel point on top of a temple structure.

Night Temple

Next up, you’re going to want tohead to the right of the Upper City section of the map, which is labelled as Upper City East. Just like you did for the last fast-travel point, you’ll find this one on top of a building.

Hanging Gardens

The next fast-travel point is one that you’re definitely not going to miss.During the sixth main quest of the game, The Celestial Guardians, you’ll need to make your way up to the top of the Upper Cityon both sides to complete the quest. When you get here, go to the left and you’ll find the Hanging Guardians fast-travel point.

The Clockwork

Just like with the Day and Night Temple, the Clockwork fast-travel point is the Eastern version of the Hanging Gardens fast-travel point. Once again, you’ll need to get up here for the Celestial Guardians main quest, so once you’re here simply go to the left again and get this fast-travel point.

Royal Corridors

The final fast-travel point of the Upper City (and really of the whole game) is the Royal Corridors.Once you’ve taken on the final quest of the game, you’ll have to fight your way to the top of this areato get to the final boss. Before you do that, hit the fast-travel point at the end to be able to return here at any point.

Soma Tree

The first fast-travel point that can be found in the Soma Tree area is located on the map above. It’s a fair bit of the way through the Soma Tree section of the game, so just head over to where we’ve marked.

Brambles Tower

The next fast-travel point can be found above the last one and to the right, which is where you’ll take on one of the game’s toughest boss battles, Kiana. Simply make your way up here to unlock this point, which is right next to a Wak Wak tree.

Forest Ruins

The final fast-travel point of the Soma Tree and Hyrcanian Forest area is called the Forest Ruins. It’s located right near an exit point of the Lower City, but you’re likely to encounter it a bit later in the gameas you need the Chakram to be able to unlock it. Go here once you’ve got that early game item and you’ll be able to get another location to zip to.

Pit Of Eternal Sands

Sentinel’s Road

The first fast-travel point of the Pit of Eternal Sands can be found in the lower right section of the map, which you’ll have to make your way through anyway as you explore the Pit as part of the main quest. Once you get here, which is right near where Fariba is selling a map, you can get the Sentinel’s Road fast-travel point.

Sealed Lair

The final Pit of Eternal Sands fast-travel point is barely any distance away from the Sentinel’s Road one we just shared above. It’s also pretty close to where you actually enter this part of the map, so you should be able to find it very easily. It’s also right next to a Wak Wak tree, so remember to follow the golden trail if you’re having trouble.

Raging Sea

The Holds

Getting most of the fast-travel points so far has been easy, but the next two are by far the easiest ones to get in the whole game.To get The Holds fast-travel point, simply make your way through the area(which you’ll need to do to beat the main quest anyway) and you’ll eventually reach a ship with a Wak Wak tree and a fast-travel point.

The Galleon

Just like above, this next fast-travel point is super easy to get as well. From The Holds area, just keep making your way to the right towards the boss battle of the Raging Sea, and you’ll eventually find this next fast-travel point.

Sunken Harbor

Pirate Village

The first fast-travel point in the Pirate Village is aptly named “Pirate Village”. You’ll easily be able to reach the location marked above, which is right in the middle of the area,by going to the right from the Catacombs. Once here, you’re able to unlock the most helpful fast-travel point for the Pirate Village.

Landmines

The second fast-travel point in the Sunken Harbourcan be found in the area just before the entrance to the Hyrcanian Forest. You’ll be able to make your way up here byusing the Chakram of Menolias to raise platformsand reach the top. Again, it’s right next to a Wak Wak tree so you should be able to find this easily.

Tomb Of Silence

Tomb Entrance

The only fast-travel point to be found in the Tomb of Silence is right at the top of the map, right before you take on the area’s boss battle. To reach it, you’re going to need to make your way up there by using the Fabric of Time and the platforming skills you’ve unlocked up to this point. When you get there, you’ll find it right above a Wak Wak tree.
