They say that money makes the world go round, and that applies toPalworld, too. You need gold to pay for merchant and NPC services in Palworld, but it’s not exactly obvious how to get that gold. Merchants have loads of useful goodies for you to buy, so farming gold is worth every second of extra effort.

There are a few ways you’re able to get gold - selling Pals and items to merchants, finding gold in chests, and farming for money. Money may not grow on trees, but in Palworld, it does drop from very special Ranch pals. Here’s everything you need to know to start raking in the dough.

How To Farm Money

While you can find Gold bylooting respawning chestsandselling to Merchants, it can take a while to find enough resources to sell and to double back to chest locations. Themost reliableway to earn Gold quickly is to use Ranch Pals to, quite literally, farm it.

Certain Pals have abilities that allow them topassively drop or dig up Goldwhen they’re assigned to theRanchat your player base.

Assigning these Pals to the Ranchbrings in a seriously steady cash flow, and if you plan your workload correctly, you canfully automate Gold productionso you never have to lift a finger again.

If your base level allows it, you can even make aseparate base locationfor the sole purpose of farming gold.

Pals likeMauandMau Crysthave the partner skillGold Digger, which means that they will sometimesdig upGold Coinswhen assigned to theRanch.

Equipping these Pals to your base should auto-assign them to the Ranch task, but if you want to make sure that they are only ranching, assign Pals with non-ranching tasksto your base so it only has access to the Ranch.

Once a Pal with Gold Digger is assigned to the Ranch, they’ll startpassively collecting coins. Pals' current jobstatusesare displayedabove their headswhen you approach them, and if its status saysGrazing, then it means that they’recurrently searching for Gold.

After a while, your Pal will find anddig up a bag of Gold coinsand drop it on the ground. Depending on what other Pals you have assigned to your base, another Pal will then collectthe bag of coins androute it to a chestto store them.

you’re able to speed up the production to storage assembly line byputting your Gold chest as close to the Ranchas possible. This will shorten the amount of time transportation Pals need to take to put the coins away, and it speeds up their ability to clear the Ranch and process more coins.

If you want to increase gold production even more, increase the amount of Gold-producing Palsyou assign to your base. Mau are the best for this, as they only have work suitability for farming, so they’llautomatically route to the Ranchwhen they’re assigned to the base.

Other Methods

Farming Gold with Ranch pals is the most reliable way to get Gold quickly, but there are a couple of other things you may do to make some extra cash.

Slaying Enemies In Dungeons

SomePalsand virtually allhumansalsodrop Gold when killed. If you’d like to take a more violent approach to Gold collection, you can enter dungeons and ‘farm’ for gold byrepeatedly killing faction raiders and Palsthat drop gold like Mau and Direhowl.

Faction raiderswill respawnafter a while, so if you’re exploring acave dungeonand double back to a room you’ve already cleared, theenemies may respawnfor you to mow them down again.

Repeat these steps as many times as you want, and you’ll see the cash start to flood in.

Selling To Traders and Blackmarketeers

This method can take a while, but if you plan your inventory space correctly and are diligent about the Pals (and people) you capture, you may sell items, Pals, and people to merchants.

Humans go for a lot of moneyon the Black Market so, if you possess the heart for it, you cansell captured humans.

Don’t sell captured people toregular Merchants. You could getarrestedor worse. If you’re going to take the dark path, head to aBlack Marketeerinstead.
