Jaheira is a half-elf druid that you may meet in Act Two ofBaldur’s Gate 3. Eventually, she can be invited to join your party as a playable companion. She’s a powerful member of the Baldur’s Gate Harpers, and is respected by those she commands.
Jaheira alludes to her past frequently as you talk to her, but you can get to know her more by visiting her home. She’s a resident of Baldur’s Gate, and you can find her house in the Lower City. There, you can find out more about her family, and you can even pick up some useful items.
Where Is Jaheira’s House?
Jaheira’s house can be found in theLower City. It lies along the west edge of the city, and it sitsbeside a large statue of Balduran. If youhead to the coordinates X: -209 Y: 55, you’ll find yourself right by the entrance. There’s a sign by the door, and it reads “Elarrathin Residence”.
Here, you’ll meet her children; Jord, Rion, Jhessem, Fig, and Tate. When you head inside, a cutscene will play, andyou’ll find out more about her relationship with her children.
That being said, it’s a good idea tobring Jaheira along when you visit her home.
How To Enter Jaheira’s Basement
Under Jaheira’s home is anunderground hideout with supplies and equipment. There are also some items you’ll find there that will tell you more about Jaheira’s background.
To get to the basement,you’ll need to first get a harper pin. One harper pin is available for you to grab in the house. You’ll need to head upstairs to find it.
You’ll find a boy namedTate standing in the bedroom upstairs. Speak to him, andhe’ll give you Jaheira’s harper pin.
When you have the pin,head to Jaheira’s study. On the side of the desk, there’s apin slot. Fit the harpen pin into the slot, thena mechanism will reveal a passagewith steps leading down.
Head through the passage to get to the basement.
How To Gain Access To Jaheira’s Secret Room
Jaheira’s security doesn’t end with a secret passage to the basement, becausein the basement is a secret roomwith her most valuable possessions.
When you get inside the bungalow sitting deep inside the basement,head for the bookcase at the far end. There’s a trap right beside it, and it triggers when you try to pry open the loose planks it’s on.
Under the loose planks,you’ll find a key to Jaheira’s secret room. Use the key to get past the bookcase.
Inside this room,you’ll find Staff of the Ram,Belm, and Khalid’s Gift. The last item is an amulet that wasgiven to Jaheira by her husband. This sweet trinketprotects Jaheira from being cursedand grants the wearer the ability to cast Aid.
