Fortnite Festivaloffers fun rewards through the Festival Pass, though you must complete Milestones to speed up the process. One of them involves Band Stars, which won’t even appear if you don’t play with others. The game doesn’t provide a clear explanation of Band Stars, so what are they, how do you earn them, and what are some tips to maximize them?
Luckily, Band Stars are easy to unlock once you know how they work, so you may play in groups and work toward that Milestone. As you do, you’ll save time and stack the other Milestones, maximizing your time while getting all the rewards in the Festival Pass.
What Are Band Stars?
Band Stars refer tostars you can only earn while playing with others. Your stars appear on the left side of the screen, while the Band Stars are on the right.
The left side only shows your score and progress while the right is your band’s score and stars combined.Anytime you use Overdrive, the multiplier applies to your entire band, stacking up to an eight times multiplier.
You need significantly more points to earn Band Stars, thoughit’s balanced based on your team and the difficulty settings. For instance, if you’re all playing on Easy, it’ll require fewer points than if you had one of the three playing on Expert.
How To Earn Band Stars
You must play with others to earn Band Stars. When you select Fortnite Festival,ensure it says Fill before you start, so you’ll be matched with others.
Alternatively,you may invite your friends if you want players who will perform wellor simply want to spend time with your buddies. Either way, you’ll select songs from the stage, hold the Ready button, and play songs.
Even if people leave mid-song, you’ll still get Band Stars, so keep playing.
Band Star Tips
But how do you maximize your Band Stars? Luckily, you canuse some tips to help you earn up to five in a song.
Hold onto your Overdrive and use it alongside your team. Getting the eight times multiplier will always be better than using Overdrive alone.
You shouldn’t let your Overdrive go to waste:if your meter is full, use it. If your teammates don’t use Overdrive, you may want to quit out of the group and find a different band.
You should play on the highest difficulty that you can consistently reach five stars with.The higher your difficulty setting, the more points you can score, letting you make up points for your team.
As you play with people,send friend requests to ones who are good at the gameto join them and earn more Band stars. This also lowers your odds of playing with people who don’t contribute enough.
Justkeep playing Fill mode until you earn all the Milestonessince you’ll get them eventually. Luckily,you can’t fail songs in Fortnite Festival, so you’ll always get something from completing songs.
