You’ll be through plenty of boss fights before you encounter Vahram inPrince Of Persia: The Lost Crownand you’re actually supposed to defeat him. In the first encounter with this enemy, you’ll always get eliminated since that’s how the story continues to The Tiger And The Rat quest.
However, you’ll get a second chance at it by waking up the four guardians as you defeat both Orod and Menolias on the way. Even after everything you’ve learned, this fight won’t be easy due to Vahram’s continuous phasing.

Vahram Attack Pattern
Before the Vahram fight, you’ve already seen a bunch of enemies phase in and out of the battlefield continuously. However, thisboss takes it to another level by doing it regularly in the middle of attacks. Here’s what you can expect from him and how to dodge them all:
First Phase
Normal Attacks
This is one of the common attacks performed by Vahram where he slashes his sword in front. This attack can haveone or two instances depending on your distance from Vahramafter the first one.
Because of Vahram’s constant phasing and appearing near your location,he can also perform this attack midair if you’re jumping.

Wave Attacks
Vahram has a bunch of wave attacks where helets out a red wave from his sword at different angles. If he performs this attack as he’s in the air, he’ll let the wave out directly below him, which strikes the ground and deals damage.
After the airwave attack (two of them in the second phase), heteleports to the ground and performs a circular slashing attackthat deals damage in the area.

Ground Wave
This is also one of the wave attacks that Vahram can randomly perform when he’s on the ground. In it,he launches one or two waves across the battlefielddepending on the phase you’re in.
You can parry this wave if you time your parry correctly.

Eye Of The Storm
This attack can be seen throughout the fight, and in it, Vahram creates a semi-circular field, slowing down the time in the affected area. You have a couple of seconds to get out of this (until Vahram is in the middle).
If you don’t dash out of the field fast enough, Vahram will move out and start attacking you, andyou won’t be able to dodge these attacks since you’re super slow.

Second Phase
Throwback
At certain intervals during the second phase, Vahram will close his fist and roll the time back a few seconds. All thehealth he lost during this time turns into a gray bar, and he starts recovering it slowly.
However, the recovery stops as soon as you deal damage to him, so this should be your priority.

Laser Attack
Vahram has a special attack in the second phase where he spawns a bunch of lasers on the battlefield. A few seconds later, these lasers get activated, andif you touch any of them when they’re activated, a special attack plays out.
In this attack, Vahram deals multiple instances of damage to Sargon, and you can’t dodge any of them.

Area Denial
The attack where Vahram spawns a circle on the field, which deals damage after a short while, can be seen from the first phase. However, in the first phase,it’s only one circle that you may easily go out of.
In the second phase, this turns to three circles consecutively placed on the ground, andfive circles with two in the air in the third phase.

Dash Attack
This attack can be seen in both the second and third phases where Vahram performs two dashes at your current height in the battlefield. Thesecan easily be parried if timed correctly.
Tips To Beat Vahram
Once you start battling Vahram, you will get defeated a ton of times before you can get a hang of his attacks. However, even when you do, this fight isn’t easy because of the constant attention requirement, but these tips can make it a little easier on you:
Once you beat Vahram, you’llget your final Time Powerthat will make defeating far-away enemies a lot simpler.
