The final battle inAvatar: Frontiers Of Pandorawill make use of many skills and techniques you’ve learned to stop Mercer and the RDA from destroying Pandora and turning it into an oil field. There’s a lot to do and not much time to do it. Once you embark on this quest, you’re one step closer to the end.

After spending so much time and energy uniting the clans across the Western Frontier, it all comes to a head to stop Mercer and the devastating drill. Help your allies infiltrate the RDA and bring it crumbling down to save the future of Pandora.

How To Reach The Control Room

After completing A Hidden Weakness, you’ll be prompted toreturn to the Resistance Hideoutto speak with Ri’nela in the command center.

Once you start this quest, you willnot be able to stopuntil it is complete. This is thefinal main story questin the base game.

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora Fighting Mercer’s Personal Guard

You’ll have tosneak into Mercer’s basethrough a cave system beneath it, the entrance of which can befound north of Drill Base Omegaunder a massive fallen tree. Make your way there, where you’ll be greeted by a hunter.

Follow the cave systemsto reach Mercer’s base. You’ll enter a rough-looking facility where several RDA soldiers are milling about. Your goal is tolet the clans into the base, so eliminate any enemies in your way.

Head up the rampand through the doors toaccess a computer terminalwith SID. This will open a door you can use in a moment. From the terminal, turn around and break the lock on the door behind you. Drop down into the vent and make your way through, then go through the dooryou just unlocked.

Make sure to break the locks on the power boxes so that you don’t get shocked!

Continue moving, climbing onto crates and pipes, until you need to drop to a closed door. When you reach this point, the door will open for you. Be careful–it’s an ambush.

There seems to be a bug where you’ll take damage before the AMP suits enter the room, no matter where you hide. The AMP suits also seem to just appear instead of walking out of the doors.

The first wave of enemies is all you’ll have to deal with. The second wave is full of more AMP suits, but they’ll be disabled part-way through combat. Someone is trying to help you, sohead up to the control roomto find out who.

How To Let The Kame’tire Inside

Your next goal is tofind the drill charge, so proceed through the facility by breaking locks as needed. You’ll find yourself crawling through vents anddropping into a room with two RDA soldiers. Fight them off quickly, then break the lock on the door andenter the gatehouse.

When you arrive, Anufi has already made her way inside. All you need to to istalk to her, then use SID toopen the gateand let the Kame’tire do their work. Move quickly here to get to the Armor Bay.

You canfight if you wish, but it’s much better to conserve your resources andmake a run for it. There are plenty of surfaces to hide behind as you sprint across the base.

As soon as youreach the Armor Bay, Teylan will lock the door behind you.

How Let The Zeswa And Aranahe Inside

To let the Zeswa into the base, you’ll need todestroy all the computers in the control room. When you unlock the door to the Armor Bay, there are RDA soldiers and four AMP suits. Make your way around them, across the balcony, to reach the locked door. Break the lock and head inside.

Destroying the AMP suits is optional, but it’s a good idea to reduce the RDA’s forces.

Defeat the four RDA soldiersinside the Armor Bay control room, thenopen fire on the computers. Your next goal is to lower the bridge so the Zeswa can ride in.Go through Maintenanceto reach the other control room, where you’ll have to take out two more RDA soldiers beforehacking the computer.

This will lower the bridge and let the Zeswa ride through. A Samson moves towards the windows and fires, breaking the glass and knocking you out. Get back up andhop out the now broken windowto reach the next area. The Aranahe need your help.

As you reach the area where the antenna is, there aretwo rocket launchers in a casenearby.

You can enter the covered space and pick them up as needed, though use them wisely.

You’ll have topull the lever on the antennaso Teylan can access it. When that happens, you’ll face thefirst of several waves of RDA forces. It will take a bit of time for Teylan to access the antenna, so camp out and stay vigilant.

After Teylan is in, he’ll open one of the hatches for you.Fire at the hatch to destroy the fuse box. There’s a backup that needs to be destroyed as well, but it will take Teylan about 50 seconds to open it up. Once it’s open, destroy the second fuse box.

Head up to the computer terminal todisable the anti-air gunsand watch the Aranahe fight the RDA. Mercer watches on as Harding retreats.Mercer then heads to the drill charge, and you’ll have to follow him.

How To Stop The Drill Charge

Toreach the top of the refinery, you’ll have to make your way through wave after wave of RDA forces. Most of them are soldiers, so you can dispose of them easily. Continue togo up in a spiraluntil you reach an open area.

There, you’ll besurrounded on all sides, but you canavoid the RDA by staying along the right walland sprinting. Drop down into the trench, break the vent, and crawl throughto confront Mercer.

Stop The Drill From Fueling

After he finishes taunting you, you need toget to the underground firing chamber. Race down the facility and break through the vents to reach the firing chamber.

Do not enter the yellow doors until you’re ready. Once the other side opens, the final battle begins.

You’ll have tofire at the fuel portsto prevent the drill from charging. You can’t fire at them right away, sowait for the fuel to line upand open the port all the way, then fire at the port.

There aretwo ports for you to destroywhile RDA forces continue to enter the room in waves. Finding a place to sit and wait will help you avoid getting overwhelmed.

If you take too long, the drill will be fueled and you will have to restart from the last checkpoint.

Defeat Mercer’s Personal Guard

Mercer’s personal guard will appear after you’ve finished destroying the fuel ports. Therear vents of the suit are covered in armor, but you can destroy it toexpose the weak spots. Otherwise, you’re in for a long fight.

There are weapons, ammo, and health supplies around the center of the room. Use them as needed.

The best tactic is tokeep moving, lay traps, and use the shotgunup close. Stun ammo will keep the guard from moving while you empty the standard shells into the AMP suit.

How To Raise The Drill Charge

Once the guard is defeated,escape the firing chamberthrough a door to the north. You’ll havethree minutes to reach the drill chargeand raise it before it detonates.

Move as fast as you’re able to to get there, putting out fires as you go. Use SID once you reach the computer toraise the drill chargeso that it won’t devastate the Western Frontier.

Hurry through the vents toget to Teylan before drill charge goes off. You’ll get a cutscene where you finallyconfront Mercer face to face. In the aftermath, you’ll see what the future of Pandora holds before the credits roll, and you’re returned to the main menu.
