Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crownmight have a bunch of unique biomes and puzzles that you can spend hours in, but the coolest part about the game is still the main boss fights, especially once you start getting to the late game and the bosses start having much more depth.
Kiana The Forest Queen is one of these bosses, and you’ll meet her in the Soma Tree area when you’re trying to get enough Simurgh Feathers to remove the seal to the Pit of Eternal Sands.

Kiana The Forest Queen Attack Pattern
When you’re fighting a main boss like Kiana, it’s quiteimportant to learn their attack pattern so that you know when to dodgethese attacks. If you don’t pay attention to the dodge times, you won’t be able to beat this boss at higher difficulties no matter how many potions you have.
Out of all the bosses in the game, Kiana has one of the most detailed set of attacks, including a domain expansion between her phases. Here’s what you’re able to expect from her:

First Phase
Surprise Attack
This is the first attack that the boss fight always starts from, and in it, you’ll see ared glow on the battlefield and Kiana’s wolf will jump outof the location in a second.
The only way to dodge this attack is topress the slide button as soon as you see the glow.

Projectile And Rush
This is a double attack where both Kiana and her wolf tag teams on you. First, there’s asmall aiming timer before Kiana hurls her spearat your location. you may parry this attack.

As the spear is getting thrown, the wolf will lie down on the floor andstart going across the battlefield with a red attackthat you have to jump over.
Spear Hurl
This is a pretty simple attack where Kiana makes her spear move in a circular pattern and hurls it towards Sargon. You can parry it with the correct timing, but the spear comes back in a moment just like your Chakram.
This attack gets buffed in the second phase and Kiana throws the spear on a height while the wolfproduces a laser that goes across the battlefield on the ground. Jump in the air and use air attacks to dodge it.

Domain Expansion
Once you reduce Kiana’s health to a certain threshold, she’ll take you to a new area where she’ll constantly throw three types of attacks at you.Two of these attacks go across the screen at different heights.
The third attack starts at the top of your current location and comes down. All these attacks are red, so you can’t parry them. The speed of these attacks is also faster when you enter this new domain for the second time.

Second Phase
Buffed Projectile And Rush
In the second phase, the same projectile and rush attack as the first one is performed. However, after that,Kiana rotates her spear in a circle constantly as the wolf dashes backacross the battlefield.

This is a red attack and you can’t even slide or jump past it. Theonly way to avoid this attack is to use the Shadow Of The SimurghTime Power.
Ground Surprise Attack
This is similar to the first surprise attack, except the wolf jumps out of the ground this time. When in the air, Kianalaunches a bunch of explosive blobs on the battlefieldto restrict your movement.
Dodge to the side when you see this attack coming andbreak the blobs with your arrow or Chakram from far away.

Tag Team
This is theyellow-glow attack that you’ll start seeing from Kianain the second phase. The attack starts with Kiana and her Wolf taking one side of the battlefield each and passing the spear between them.
Right after that, Kiana goes into the air and launches herself at you with a yellow attack. If parried correctly, you’ll deal a ton of damage and get a lot of charges for your Athra.
Third Phase
Buffed Surprise Attack
In this attack, the wolf will jump out of the shadows just like in the first phase, except it’llhave a laser attack that you’ll have to jump through right after.
