The main story ofPrince Of Persia: The Lost Crownis quite unique since it essentially lets you roam freely until you reach a main quest location. However, most secret areas in the game are gated by various abilities that you only get as you finish the main story and beat specific bosses.
One of these bosses is Jahandar, and you meet it in Lower City at the end of Lost In Mount Qaf quest. This will be a fierce battle, and you’ll need a good handle on your weapons along with some upgrades if you want to get past it.

Jahandar Attack Pattern
During the Jahandar fight, the boss will get two phases, but the HP bar will remain the same andyou only have to bring it to zero health once. However, the attack pattern can change drastically between these phases, and the boss' attacks are already quite difficult to dodge. Here’s what you can expect:
First Phase (above 70 percent health)

Poison Attack
This is the attack that the boss usually starts with and uses it commonly during battle. In it, Jahandar charges its tail for a couple of seconds beforestabbing it into the ground and making a poison pit at the location.
You take damage if you’re at the stabbing location orif you run into the poison pit at any point. The poison gives you small damage for a few seconds.

Fang Attack
This is Jahandar’s basic attack where itsimply slashes at Sargon with its fangs. This can easily be parried with correct timing. You can see this attack in the second phase too.
Charge Attack
This attack is shared between both phases of the fight, andyou can see the boss charging at you with a yellow light on its face. When this attack is parried on time, you deal massive damage to Jahandar.
However, you alsotake much higher damageif you parry too early. On proper parry, this attack also stuns the boss for a bit.

Second Phase (below 70 percent health)
Ground Stomp
The second phase already starts with this attack, and it can happen commonly throughout the battle after. In this, Jahandargoes high up in the air and deals massive AoE damageon the ground after.
This is followed by somesmall boulders falling from the ceilingat random locations.

Orb Spawn
You’ll only see this attack once or twice during the fight, andusing your bow is extremely important for it. Here, the boss spawns a purple orb that deals damage below its location at regular intervals.
It can be quite a nuisance during the fight, so the best thing is toget rid of it using four arrowsas soon as you can.

Buffed Poison Attack
The first part of this attack is the same as the first phase, but a second after that, the tail comes back out of the ground here andinflicts you with poison if you’re standing on top of it.
Poison Arrows
This attack doesn’t have a lot of charge time, and the boss shoots four poison arrows during it. However,it’s quite easy to dodge as well.
Tips To Beat Jahandar
Here are a few tips that’ll help you easily beat Jahandar at any difficulty:
Jahandar Battle Rewards
As soon as you defeat Jahandar, there will be a small cutscene and the boss will fall to the ground after. Near its body, you’llsee a bunch of crystals (over 300), arrows, and a Soma Tree Flower. If you get four of these petals, you can get an extra health bar, which is extremely important as you progress.
However, the main reward from the boss battle lies in the next room. As soon as you enter this room, you’ll get your firstTime Power called Rush of the Simurgh by taking a Simurgh Feather. This lets you dash once mid-air, which is necessary to get to some secret areas and also to continue the main quest.
