Rapunzel’s been lost on Eternity Isle for some time, and even after her long absence, Mother Gothel is still up to her manipulative tactics inDisney Dreamlight Valley. She’s tired of Mother Gother using her magic for her own schemes, and wants to refuse to help, but it isn’t that simple.
As long as Rapunzel’s the only access to the power of the Sundrop Flower, Mother Gothel’s going to keep bothering her. She needs your help to figure out a way to be free of Mother for good and fully obtain independence. The only way to do so is to find an alternate way to harness the Sundrop’s power.
How To Unlock The Glowing Up Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Glowing Up, you’ll first need tocomplete a few other questsbefore it becomes available.
First, you’ll need to have completed themain story quest, Sands In The Hourglass, so you canunlock the area Rapunzel is in, andalso The Wild Tangle’s Swarm, which introduces Rapunzel.
You’ll also need Rapunzel’sprevious friendship quests,The Housewarming Quest, andI’ve Got A Dreamlightcompleted.
You’ll need to haveThe Ruins areaof Eternity Isleopen to unlock this quest, and itcosts 10,000 Mistto unlock.
Once you’ve got the quest available,speak with Rapunzelto start the quest.
It turns outMother Gothelhasn’t stopped bothering Rapunzel, and she’s tired of the woman manipulating her and her magic, so you promise to help solve the issue.
How To Find All Sundrop Petals
Locate andspeak to Mother Gothel, and she’ll tell you that she tried to harness Rapunzel’s magic without using her, but it didn’t quite work.
Mother Gothel gives you apretty big piece of information, though: Rapunzel’s magic comes from theSundrop Flower.
Mother Gothel willhand over a mapto you and suggestusing your Royal Hourglassto findwhere the Sundrop Flowers used to beon Eternity Isle.
After speaking with her,open up your inventory, anduse the mapthat Mother Gothel gave you, and you’llunlock a memoryshowingfour marked locations across Eternity Isle.
Where To Find It
First Petal
In thetop left cornerof thewalled section closest to the staircase to the Docksin theOverlookarea.
Second Petal
In thesouthernmost area of the Oasisat the edge of the map,near a cluster of several palm treesand a mining node.
Third Petal
In thelower-left corner, next to the waterin thesmall areaof theGrasslandsnear theentrance to the Sundial.
Fourth Petal
In thebottom left cornerof theWasteland,near a mining nodethat’sblocked off by small glass stalagmites.
You’ll need to have obtained theSmall Glass Stalagmite pickaxe upgradefrom theTimebending Tableto beable to break them.
How To Craft The Eternal Sundrop Charm
Once you’ve got all the petals,speak with Merlin first. You’ll find out that hedoesn’t have much knowledgeabout the magic needed, and he’ll suggest that youspeak to Ursulainstead.
Ursula’s got the know-how to make the charm, and she asks you tocollect a few items for herto make the charm:Dream Shards,Evergems,Skeleton Fish, andsomething as paymentto her.
Turns out that something is Rapunzel’s secret, and you aren’t too keen on just giving that information.Whichever answer you pick, Ursula isn’t too happy, and you’ll have tomake the charm yourself.

Take all the items you’ve gathered andbring them to any workbench. Go over to thePotion & Enchantment tab, then craft the Eternal Sundrop Charm.
How To Make Rapunzel’s Campsite
With the Eternal Sundrop Charm in hand, it’s time forRapunzel to confront Mother Gotheland be free of her.Follow Rapunzel over to her, andwatch the dialoguebetween them.
Speak with Rapunzelafter they’re finished talking, and she’ll tell you that after such a triumph, she wants toset up a campsite in the Wild Tanglewhere she can relax and celebrate.
For the campsite, you’llneed the Cozy Fire Pit she gives youandfurniture itemsthatmatch her description:
you may use theFilter functionin both yourfurniture inventory and Scrooge’s storeto helpsort items by color and traitto find what Rapunzel wants.
Go into your inventory, then navigate to theFurniture tab, andset up the campsitefor Rapunzelanywhere within Wild Tangle.
Speak with Rapunzelafter you’re finished, thenmeet her at the campsiteyou decorated for her. Rapunzel will not only thank you for helping her but also sing for you of her own free will, and you’ll also berewarded with 2,200 Friendshipwith her.
