InPalworld, you need weapons to weaken Pals to capture them, fight off raiders attacking your base, or defeat the many bosses located all over the map. In the beginning, you start small with a wooden club. As you progress, you start getting better melee weapons and, eventually, a crossbow.
And while the crossbow does its job, soon you’re going to need something with a bit more firepower. What you need now are guns, and we’re here to tell you what guns you’ll get, when you’ll get them, and what ammo you’ll need for each one.

How To Get Guns And Ammo
The first gun you’ll be able to unlock in the game is theMusket. It hits harder than the Crossbow, but the tradeoff is a longer reload time. You can unlock this using yourTechnology Points that you earn from leveling uponTier 21, along with the recipes forGunpowderandCoarse Ammo.
The more you level up, themore guns and ammoyou have thepotential to unlock and craft.
You can craft ammo at a High Quality Workbench,but for the gunsyou’ll need either aWeapon WorkbenchorWeapon Assembly Line.
Here are all theguns and ammo you can get in the game, when you unlock them, and what you need to craft them.
Guns
To craft the guns below,you want to make sure you have all the resources available. This is where your Pals can help. Employ thebest Mining Pals to farm ore for you, and thebest Pals with the Kindling proficiencyto fire up the furnaces for ingots.

Ammo
At first glance, ammo doesn’t use as many resources as guns. For instance,Coarse Ammotakesone Ingotandone Gunpowderfor abundle of ten bullets.
However, you’ll find when you start shooting these guns, that theammo gets used up fast. As long as you keep up the ore, ingot, and gunpowder production, though, you should be fine.
To craft gunpowder you willCharcoalandSulfur. Charcoal is made from wood at the Furnace, andSulfur you can find in the desert regions and near the volcano.
