The Wild Fairy Of Erinnyes is a major world quest chain introduced inGenshin Impactversion 4.3. The quest takes place in Erinnyes Forest and is the key quest that solves many of the mysteries surrounding the interesting places of Erinnyes Forest, including the windy Loch Urania and the Weeping Willow.

Wild Fairy of Erinnyes can be started without any prior conditions and is relatively simple and short when compared to other world quests of Fontaine. This quest follows the adventures of the Traveler with a Melusine named Pashiv to save Fontaine from an unknown bacterial infection surrounding the Erinnyes Forest.

How To Unlock Wild Fairy World Quest

The quest can be easily unlocked by teleporting to Marcotte Station in Erinnyes Forest and theninteracting with a stone tabletat the nearest fountain.

After interacting with the carved stone tablet following a few dialogues,the quest will start and take you to Foggy Forest. Upon arrival, you will have to interact with an altar under the glowing tree.

How To Reveal The Altar’s Secret

Interacting with the altar under the tree will set you up with a vague quest objective. To proceed with the quest, you simplysolve the puzzles surrounding the “Mysterious Altar”.

To find the first puzzle, turn left from the altar andhead towards the patch of grass with an interesting purple color. This will introduce you to a new puzzle mechanic where the objective is topurify Contaminated Bacterial Mats(the purple rocks) by usingXenochromatic Ball Octupus’s abilities(the blue orb on top of the nearby pillar).

Upon purifying the Contaminated Bacterial Mats,Dew Bubbles will spawn. Use their explosion to hit Harmonious Reed Pipe nearby.

Thenumber of runes/symbols on top of the Harmonious Reed Pipedetermines in what order Dew Bubbles should hit them. For example, a Harmonious Reed Pipe with one symbol should take the hit from the Dew Bubbles first and a Harmonious Reed Pipe with two symbols will take the second hit from the Dew Bubbles.

First Puzzle

The puzzle can be easily solved bycombining the two Dew Bubblesthat spawned by moving them into each other by usingXenochromatic Ball Octupus’s abilitiesand then popping the bubble tohit the Harmonious Reed Pipes. Make sure you hit all the Harmonious Reed Pipes at thesame timefor this puzzle.

Second Puzzle

The second puzzle is towards the right of the “Mysterious Altar”. The most notable difference to this puzzle is that this timethe Harmonious Reed Pipes must be hit in a specific order by the Dew Bubbles. The order in which the Dew Bubbles should hit the Harmonious Reed Pipes depends on how many runes are on top of them.

Start bypurifying the Contaminated Bacterial Matsby using the Xenochromatic Ball Octupus’s abilities (the blue orb on top of the nearby pillar) and place the Dew Bubbles in such a way that when the first Dew Bubbles explode,it will hit the second Dew Bubble and cause it to pop in a chain.

Third Puzzle

The third puzzle is close to a cave towards the south of the “Mysterious Altar”. Get ready for a fight with Hydro Slimes, which shouldn’t be a problem, butthe puzzle might be tricky for some people.

To solve the puzzle,combine both Dew Bubblesby using Xenochromatic Ball Octupus’s abilities by making the Dew Bubbles come closer, and position them in such a way thatthe bigDew Bubble is in the middleand slightly towards the Harmonious Reed Pipes with one rune on top of it.

When the Dew Bubble is popped, the Dew Bubble willhit the Harmonious Reed Pipes with one rune first and hit the other two Harminous Reed Pipes at the same time, which is exactly what we need to do to solve the puzzle. Do keep in mind that these puzzles have no specific order, and you can find your creative way to solve the puzzles.

Upon completion of these three Puzzles, the “Mysterious Altar” will be activated, and after a few exchanges of dialogue with Paimon and with the sudden appearance of a mysterious Melusine,The Wild Fairy of Erinnyeswill officially start as a new world quest chainunder your quest menu.

How To Search For A Key Near The Weeping Willow

According to Pahsiv,two more keys are required to unlock the sealon the fountain and solve the problems within, and thus you now make your way toThe Weeping Willow and the Furious Mouth Of The Spring.

The “Key” at The Weeping Willow can be obtained by solving the Harmonious Reed Pipe puzzle under the “Weeping Willow”,which is underwater. Solving the puzzle here is pretty straightforward; obtain aXenochromatic Water Blade skill from the Hunter ray nearby and cut the Fontemer Seagrasswhile timing the weak points to be cut at the same time.

After the Fontemer Seagrass has been cut, an octopus with abilities will be freed,take its ability, and use it to purify the Contaminated Bacterial Mats(purple rocks). A single Dew Bubble will spawn and use the Dew Bubble to solve the Harmonious Reed Pipe Puzzle.

How To Search For The “Key” Near The “Mouth Of The Spring”

Navigate the quest, and you will arrive at a windy place. Go underwater anddestroy the Contaminated Bacterial Mats using the Xenochromatic Armored Crab’s ability, go deeper to find a wind current, and follow it to the other side.

This site will also have Contaminated Bacterial Mats, use yourunderwater abilities to destroy themand then follow along with the Quest Navigation. This part of the quest is straightforward. After activating the altar,you must fight a big Hydro Vishap.

Within The Depths Of Erinnyes

Upon finding all the keys, your task now is touse the keys to open the secret passage in the Fountain at Marcotte Stationand to solve the hidden dangers within.

Following along with the quest navigation will take you to the “root”, this part of the quest is easy. Use theXenochromatic Ball, Octopus’sability nearby topurify the bacterial mats while fighting against abyss wolves. The quest will be completed after defeating the abyss wolves.

It’s recommended to take a goodhealerwith you for this part of the quest because you will have topurify multiple Bacterial mats and fight abyss wolvesthat drain HP at the same time.
