Returning you to the familiar Losomn setting,Remnant 2the Awakened King DLC offers a new adventure in this location. It introduces several new locations for you to explore as you unravel the secrets behind the One True King.
One such place is the Path of the Fallen. Like any other location in the game, it has a puzzle to solve and rewards to earn. This guide will walk you through the location and show you how to unlock the door that’s waiting for you there.
Path Of The Fallen Walkthrough
Navigating the first part of this area is pretty straightforward. Keep moving through, defeating enemies along the way. As you explore, you might encounter events from the base game, likeThe Locked Door,The Statues Event, orThe Flames Event.
Upon reaching the building’s exterior and the first checkpoint,a garden maze and a locked door lie ahead. To open this door, you’ll need a special key.Follow the path to the left just before the door, leading you through a narrow passage in the garden maze.
Although not initially visible on the map, it’s easy to navigate but be careful of enemies that will jump on you.
After reaching the outside where there’s awaterfall,you’ll face Wraithliege. When you defeat him, he’ll drop theProphecy Mutatorand most importantly, theMemoriam Medallion Key.
Just before the boss fight, you may unlock a shortcut by taking the right path, leading you directly to the initial locked door location.
With this key, you will be able to unlock the previous door; but hold off on doing so for now,there is more to this location!
Now, here’s the tricky part of this location. If youenter the building to the rightfrom where you faced Wraithliege, look fora large suspicious painting on the left wall. Shoot it, and it will reveala secret passage.
Head inside andclimb the stairs to find a strange magical mirror.
Interacting with this mirror willtransport you to an alternative version of the same location called the Walk of Remembrance, granting access to the other half of the garden.
Return to the stairs from where you came, andfollow the path to the rightto reach the garden maze path. Progress through it, and you will find yourself back at the locked door location.
Now,the Memoriam Medallion Key can only unlock one of the doors;either in the Path of the Fallen or the Walk of Remembrance, and therewards are different.
It’s entirely up to you which one to choose, but keep in mind thatyou can only use the Medallion on one of them. If you want the second reward, you’ll need to reroll the Awakened King.
If you decide tounlock the door in the Path of the Fallen, you’ll get theGift of Melancholy. This amulet increases all damage dealt by 25 percent when Stamina is at 100 percent for 7 seconds.
Opting tounlock the door in the Walk of Remembrancecomes with two rewards. The first is theGift Of Euphoria, an amulet that, when spending 25 stamina, grants 5 percent Critical Chance for 7 seconds, stackable up to five times.
If you wear theCrown of the Red Prince, a hidden passage reveals itself in theWalk of Remembrance. Inside, you can obtain theCremated Soul Ashmaterial, allowing you to craft theKnight Guard Weapon Modat McCabe.
