You never know what you’ll find when exploring the world ofPalia. There are treasure chests, creatures, flora, and mysteries. One such mystery is the Old Coin quest. This isn’t something you’ll easily stumble across, however, so you may need a little help figuring out how to begin the quest.

The Old Coin quest will have you traveling a little between Kilima Village, and the more beach-themed Bahari Bay. You’ll do most of the quest in the Flooded Fortress region in Bahari Bay, so it might be a good time to find treasure while you’re searching for the elusive quest.

Where To Find The Old Coin Quest

To get the Old Coin quest,you’ll need to set out for Bahari Bay, specifically the Flooded Fortress. When you usethe main entrance into the Flooded Fortressarea, you’ll be able tosee the ancient ruins.

You’ll seetwo parts of a broken bridge on pillars. Vines are visible on the broken bridge parts, and you’ll want tomake your way to the bridge piece on the leftwith the very long vines.

How To Navigate The Broken Bridge Climbing Vine Puzzle

As you probably guessed at the mere mention of vines,you’re about to traverse a climbing puzzle. It’s not an exceptionally difficult puzzle, butthere are some things you’ll want to knowtoavoid getting stuck in a pillarand having to teleport back home.

If you do get stuck during this puzzle, you canuse the /unstuck command in chat, orthe ‘return home’ featureon your map.

Climbing Vine Puzzle Solution In Flooded Fortress

Once you receive the quest,you’ll be able to talk to villagersabout it.Talk to Jina about the Old Coin, and any other villagers you’d like. Eventually,you’ll want to talk to Zekito continue with the next parts of the quest.

How To Find The Second Old Coin

To findthe second Old Coin, you’ll want to head right back to the Flooded Fortress. You’ll also be able tofind the third Old Coin in the same general area of the Flooded Fortressas well.

You canuse the teleport to The Outskirts areato get closer to the Flooded Fortress entrance.

As soon as you pass through the archway to the Flooded Fortress,climb up onto the grassy ledges to your immediate right. You’ll want toclimb up a couple ledgesandglide over to the broken bridge piecethat is connected to the grate-covered drain pipe.

From here, you caneither search for the third Old Coin or glide across to the main ruinsto visit the phoenix statue.

How To Find The Third Old Coin

To get the third Old Coin, it may be easier togo back to the start of the climbing vine puzzle, andclimb up to the cracked pillar. Thevase will be sitting on the pillar, but it will be difficult to see from the ground.

Interact with the vase to acquire the third Old Coinand head back to the phoenix statue.

How To Get Fortune Slips

You’llneed three fortune slips to progressin the Old Coin questline. All you need to do isinteract with the phoenix statueto deposit the Old Coins you found. You should end up with three fortune slips.

Fortune slips and Old Coins will all take up their own spacesin your inventory. You’llneed at least three free inventory spacesto get them all.

Once you’vereceived all three fortune slips, you canhead back to Zekito share your discoveries. You canread the fortune slips from your inventoryif you want.
