Where To Find Mirro Shaz Shrine

The Mirro Shaz shrine is theclosest shrine to theWoodland Stable, located to the south of the Great Hyrule Forest. You’ll find the shrine directlyto the north of Pico Pond.

It’s always a good idea to interact with shrines closest to structures like stables so you have an easy way to travel to them quickly.

Breath of the Wild Mirro Shaz Shrine using stasis on stone ball

Equipment To Bring To Mirro Shaz Shrine

The Mirro Shaz shrine will require you touse stasis to hit objects at a precise distance, in precise directions.

This shrine might take you a couple of tries. In case you can’t complete the shrine before they break, you’ll want tobring extra melee weapons you don’t mind breaking. Extra sledgehammers or knight’s broadswords are good options.

The shrine will provide you with two iron sledgehammers to hit the targets, but you can find another close enough,at the entrance of the Abandoned North Mine nearGoron City.

How To Complete Mirro Shaz Shrine

When you enter the shrine, take the elevator down, and once you’re outyou’ll find a chest with an iron sledgehammer on the left and a stone ball on the ground. The challenge here is touse stasis to freeze the ball, then hit it into the socket across the water, so you’ll need to hit it hard enough to reach the socket, but not so hard it bounces right off.

Make the stasis arrow orange, but not red, andfour hits with a sledgehammershould do the trick.

If you knock the ball into the water, hit the crystal on the right to respawn it.Since your iron sledgehammer is pretty durable, you’ll have time to figure out the right strength and trajectory of the ball, so once you get the ball into the slot, your next job is to the left.

You’ll need to hit a large stone cube up a track, into a balanced stone slab, soyou must hit the cubeabout four times with your sledgehammer to knockthe slab towards you and use it as a bridge. From there, you can get your reward and exit the shrine,or take a path to the left of the spirit’s platform for a bonus chest.

If you’re concerned about weapon durability, make a save before you enter the shrine.

How To Get The Bonus Chest In Mirro Shaz Shrine

This shrine’s bonus chest is down the pathway to the left of the exit, and you’ll find another room much like the first one, so take the elevator down. There’s a crucial difference here that adds quite a bit of challenge to the task:there’s no platform leading to the ball’s socket, and pillars block the ball’s path.

You’ll have to hit the ball straight and exactly the right strength to get it to the socket. However, the exact right strength is tricky to get, because you can’t do it with one weapon where the ball spawns, and you’ll have to get a little creative instead.

Move The Ball

The first strategy is to move the ball and use your sledgehammer (or any two-handed weapon), sopick up the ball andmove it to the back of the room, with just enough space for you behind it. You should line it up with where the ball starts initially.

Alternatively, you could move it to sit beside the chest with the sledgehammer and hit it at an angle.

Once the ball is at the back of the room, hit it with your sledgehammer until its distance is maxed out, and the arrow is red.

Use Two Weapons

Another strategy is to keep the ball where it spawns but use two different weapons, becauseif you go with the sledgehammer, five hits are too few, and six hits are too many. To send the ball just the right distance, hit it five times with a sledgehammer and one time with a one-handed weapon, such as a knight’s broadsword.
