Pokemon Gohas brought another brand-new event into the fray, theDazzling Dream Event,centered around different Fairy-type Pokemon currently available in the game. This event will present different notable bonuses, a change in the Pokemon you can expect to encounter throughout the game, and even the Pokemon Go debut of a Pokemon’s Shiny variation.

Only taking place over the course of four days, the Dazzling Dream Event will span fromSaturday, July 30, 2025, at 10am local time to Tuesday, June 13, 2025, at 8pm local time.Read on for everything there is to know about this event and what it has to offer.

Pokemon Debut: Shiny Cutiefly

With the Dazzling Dream Event comes the debut ofShiny Cutiefly!

During this event, you may expect to encounter Cutiefly throughwild encounters, hatching 7 km Eggs, and as a Field Research Task encounter.ensure you take advantage of this chance to get your hands on this brand-new Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Go, with Cutiefly being a rare encounter outside this event.

Event Bonuses

There will betwo different bonusesactive for all players who log in and play during the Dazzling Dream Event, both allowing you to benefit from an increase in the Stardust you earn.

Bothcatching Pokemon and hatching Eggs will reward you with twice the Stardustduring this event, a Pokemon Go resource mainly used to power-up different Pokemon in your collection. If you want to maximize the Stardust you earn, use theStar Pieceitem before catching or hatching Pokemon, further increasing the Stardust you earn by an additional 50 percent.

Event Research

There will bePaid Timed Researchavailable to purchase for the Dazzling Dream Event. In order to unlock this Timed Research, you will have to purchase it at the in-game shop for$2.00 USD.

Completing the different tasks that are a part of this Timed Research will reward you withXP, Stardust, two Premium Battle Passes, two Star Pieces, and encounters with different Pokemon featured in this event.

With this being Timed Research, it will only be available during the time of this event.

This means that you will have to complete all tasks and claim all rewardsbefore 8pm local time on Tuesday, January 16.

Field Research Tasks

There will beevent-themed Field Research Tasksavailable to obtain throughout the Dazzling Dream Event. verify to visit and spin Photo Disc’s of different PokeStops during this event to acquire these limited-time Field Research Tasks.

Those that reward you with Pokemon encounters will give you the opportunity to catch one of six event-themed Pokemon. This includesAlolan Vulpix, Spritzee, Swirlix, Cutiefly, Mawile, and Carbink.

Additionally, completing certain Event Field Research Tasks will reward you with Mega Energy for certain Fairy-type Pokemon. This includes both Gardevoir Mega Energy and Altaria Mega Energy.

Make sure you take advantage of this opportunity to accumulate Mega Energy for both Gardevoir and Altaria.

Outside of this, Mega Energy can only be obtained by successfully completing different Mega Raids, PvE encounters that are often difficult to successfully complete.

Event Collection Challenges

There will be differentCollection Challengesavailable to complete during this event, requiring you to catch and evolve different Pokemon featured in the Dazzling Dream Event. Completing these Collection Challenges will provide you withXP, Stardust, and an encounter with Carbink as rewards.

Wild Encounter Pokemon

There will be severalevent-themed Pokemonappearing in the wild throughout the Dazzling Dream Event, many of which are rare and difficult to come by normally. Each of these event wild encounter Pokemon can be found below.

You will encounter Flabébé with different colored flowersdepending on which region you are playing Pokemon Go in.

You will encounter Flabébé with a red flower in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, blue flower in the Asia-Pacific region, yellow flower in the Americas, and white and orange flowers in all regions.

Event Egg Pokemon

7 km Eggsobtained during the Dazzling Dream Event, acquired by opening different Gifts sent to you, will hatch one of four different event-themed Pokemon. This includesTogepi, Cutiefly, Swirlix, and Spritzee, giving you a great opportunity to catch these relatively rare Pokemon.

When hatching Cutiefly from these event 7 km Eggs, they will have ahigher chance of being Shinycompared to those encountered in the wild and through Field Research Task encounters.

Make sure to take advantage of this bonus, as Shiny Pokemon are typically extremely rare and difficult to come by.

New Event Avatar Item

There will be a brand-new Pokemon Go avatar item available with the introduction of this event, theCutiefly Mask.You can get the Cutiefly Mask by purchasing it at the Pokemon Go in-game shop, both during the event, and after it has ended.
