Through the many challenges in the first four chapters of the game-sizedPortal 2mod,Portal: Revolution, you’re able to count on their Portal Gun to get you through any obstacles. But in Chapter Five, you will spend half of the levels without the tool you’ve grown accustomed to.
After a sudden flash of light, you’ll find yourself even lower in the facility than you were at the beginning, and you’ll need to work your way back up. Thankfully, after some brief parkour, you’re reunited with a unique Portal Gun that’s never been seen before in one of the game’s shorter chapters.

Chapter Five Rock Bottom Walkthrough
Now, at the bottom of the shaft from the previous chapter, youno longer have your Portal Gun. It’s mostly a straight shot, and you’llstart by walkingin the opposite direction from where you face when you wake up.
Continuewalking along the available pathas it veers to the right.
Take a right at the Keep Outsign and thencontinue up the small stairsto your left.
Continue straightthrough the broken Aperture signand thenalong the dirt pathbefore jumping on the ledge.Get on the ‘Gel Flow’ pipeand follow it along the route going up until you canjump on the grated area.

Follow along the grated area andjump onto the broken grateto get to the lower one. Take a left andfollow the left path, droppingonto the dirtat the end.
Then,get on the grey pipeand follow it until you have tomove to the black pipe. Follow that until you candrop onto the broken fence, thenget back on the grey pipe.

Jump to the pipe across the waterand follow it to solid ground, which willlead you to the section exitin a chamber.
Chapter Five 1980 Walkthrough
Wait for the door to open and thencontinue forward to the power switchon the far wall.Hit the switch and then continueto the door,waiting for the powerto activate it.
Take the stairsand thenmake a leftbefore you go through thedoorwith the bar handleinto the lobby.
In the employee waiting area,take a left and go through the large doorthat’s sitting ajar.Jump downandfollow the narrow pathuntil you get to ayellow ladder, taking it up to the second-level platform.
Continue straight andonto the yellow elevatorwith thebig red button.Press itto go up.
Wait for the elevator to stop and thenfollow the path straightthrough another door with a bar handle.Take a leftand go through thebroken windowin the office to drop into a large room.
Walk through thedoorway in front of youand take a right into the open door.Continue through the officeand up the stairs.
At the top of the stairs, take a left and walkalong the grated edge,crouching underneath the metal beamsas you go.
Drop off the edge of the raised area, take a left, andactivate the power switch. Wait for the gate to open,go out on the walkway, thendrop onto the ground.
Take a left and thengo back out along the way you camein.
Head through the doors and take a right into theexhibition room, grabbing the red Portal Gun from the mannequin holding it. Take it back into the large area,shooting a portal on one of the wallsin the small room.
Shoot another portal through the boardsin the elevator shaft and go through.
Use alternating portalsto get down to the white wall with no ledge.Shoot one portal through that walland then go through,shooting the opposite color on the groundto launch yourself across the gap.
Go up the ladderand through the room. Whatever color you just used,shoot it again on the floorin the room.
Ensure that theopposite color is on the wall you launched yourself from, and make a note of that color.
Go back through the portal you shot on the floor, and thenshoot the opposite color on the groundbefore you land. Once you’re back through the portal in the other room,shoot one on the slanted wallnear the Keep Out sign to launch.
Continue along the grated pathand the hallway before going back into the lobby. Shootone portal into the room through the windowandone on the wall to your rightbefore youturn the power off.
Go back through the portals and thenshoot one in the chamber. Go through it andturn the power back onbefore going back through.
Shoot one portal on the white wallunder the ‘Testing Track Lambda’ sign andone in the lower areabeside it.Go through the energy fieldand get on theyellow elevatorto complete the section.
Vacuum Tubes Introduction
After getting off the elevator,continue through the hallwaysand the double doors to the first Vacuum Tube room.
In that room,go through the energy field and take a leftto see the cube at the back of the room.Pick it up and hold it under the Vacuum Tubeto transport it to the other side of the energy field.
Pick up the cube and place it on the buttonto open the exit.Follow the grated path up the stairsand through another door with a bar.
Continuemoving along the hallwaysand the ruined area until you get to the next testing area. In it, you’llstart by knocking over both turretsfrom the side.
After that,shoot one color portal underneath the Vacuum Tube. Next, peek around the corners andshoot the opposite color underneath or behind the turretsto dispose of them.
Do this with the rest of the turretsas you make your way to the top level.
Once there,dispense a cubeanduse portals to take it across the gapto the exit button.
Once through the energy field,follow the hallway ruinsuntil you see another yellow elevator on your left that serves as the section’s end.
Personality Sphere Labs
Walk straight off the elevator andshoot a portal on the lowest white wall aheadof you andanother on the second levelbefore going through.
Once through,shoot a portal on the far wallin the distance andanother behind youbefore going through again. Gothrough the circular doorand follow the walkway until it opens into a larger area.
Take a right at the Keep Out signand continuestraight until you see a circular door on your left that will open when you get close.
Go through the chamber and then the conference room to the energy field. Once through,go into the left doorwayanduse a portal to get to the lower area. Then, go through the energy field.
Continue through the offices until youget into one with a projector screenthat says’Insert Disc.'
Pick the one off the tableto the right of the doorway andput it in the machine on the leftbeforeyouturn the power on.
Wait for the scene to play and the dialogue to finish before youpick up the Personality Sphere.
Take it back through the open doorways andinto the dark room.
You’ll need to wait for it to stop speaking andturn on the flashlight, then you’llcontinue along the straight pathand onto the grated walkway. Then, you’ll gothrough a circular door and up some stairsto get back into the first room.
Wait until the plug comes out of the wall, thenplace the Personality Sphere on it, otherwise it might get stuck.
Once the door is open,pick up the Sphere and continue straightthrough the large open area. When you get to the stairs,take them upbeforetaking a right into the area with the yellow walls.
