There are many characters inDisney Dreamlight Valley, and each has friendship quests for you to complete so you’re able to get to know them. Doing these quests will help you reshape the valley and show the villagers that you care, which will earn you more unique rewards as your friendship grows.
One of these characters is Gaston, the renowned hunter from Beauty and the Beast. He’s been left alone for a long time in the Glittering Dunes and could use some help rebuilding his presence. There’s plenty of work to be done, and Gaston can’t do it on his own (not that he’d ever admit it).
How To Repair Gaston’s Lodge
Uponreaching Friendship Level Twowith Gaston, you’ll unlock his quest. Gaston wants torestore his tavernto its former glory, and he needs a bit of help toget it cleaned upand ready for guests.
Clean Up The Lodge
Meet Gaston insidehis tavern, which you’ll find in the Wastes. When youtalk to Gaston, he’ll ask for helpcleaning up the sandaround the room. He also needs you torestore the ruined portraithanging on the wall.
Using your Royal Shovel,dig up the five sand pilesaround the lodge. Once that’s done, walk up to the portrait at the far end of the room and interact with it to revert the ruined image.
Find Gems To Trade
After the lodge has been cleaned, Gaston has a plan to make it even better. He needs you togo to Scrooge McDuckandoffer gems in exchange for furniture. You’ll need tofind the following gemson Eternity Isle:
You’ll onlyneed one of each, and you can find each of them in the different biomes (the Glittering Dunes, Wild Tangle, and Ancient’s Landing). Once you have them,bring them to Scrooge. He’ll want a cut of the profits, but will give your furniture to start you off.
you may haggle him down to 25 percent of the profits instead of 50 if you’d like, but it won’t make much of a difference in the end.
Repair The Old Lodge
Scrooge gives you alist of more materials to collectso you can finishrepairing the old lodge. You’ll need to gather the following:
Scrooge will give you the Crate of Gastonian Furniture and Gaston’s Antler Chair.
The rest can befound around Eternity Isle. Copper can be found bymining in the Glittering Dunes, Oasis Glass can be found bydigging in the sand, and Tropical Wood can becollected in the Wild Tangle.
Once you have all the materials,head back to Gastonand then meet him at the lodge.Using the Scrooge McDuck sign, repair the lodge.
How To Build The Freezer Of Infinite Meat
Once the lodge is restored,talk to Gastonfor the next steps. He wants tobuild a Freezer of Infinite Meat, but you’ll need tosearch the Wild Tangle for fragmentsusing the Royal Hourglass.

Once you find each piece,assemble them at a Timebending Tableto create the Freezer of Infinite Meat.Bring it to Gastonand use the Scrooge McDuck sign tore-open the old stall.
What Recipes To Cook With Meat
Once you’ve re-opened Gaston’s stall, he’ll ask you toprepare four dishes with the newly acquired meat ingredients: Venison, Poultry, and Pork. Gaston wants to be a generous host, so you’ll have tomake dishes that are at least two stars.

Makingnew dishes without the recipecalls for experimentation, but meat isn’t cheap. There aremany new delicious recipesto make, and some of the easiest ones are:
After preparing all the dishes,bring them to Gastonat the lodge.
Speak With The Guests
With the banquet all prepared, Gaston wants you tosocialize with each of the gueststo ensure they are enjoying themselves. There arethree people presentthat you’ll need to speak to:
After speaking with them,return to Gaston one final timeto tell him about the success of his party. He’s thrilled to be back and have people in his life again after years in the desert.
