The Dirty Laundry quest inStarfieldis one of the many short missions that you can complete for some extra credits. Apart from the vast amount of content in the main storyline and the huge map, Starfield has many small side quests and activities that make it feel more lively and realistic.
One such side activity happens at the Astral Lounge at Neon. During this mission, you meet an NPC by the name of Manaia Adams, who will ask you to run an errand for her. In exchange, you will receive three 3,000 credits and XP.
How To Start The Dirty Laundry Quest
To start the Dirty Laundry quest,head to Neon City on the Volli Alpha planet in the Volli System. In your in-game menu,you will see “Talk to Manaia Adams” under your activities. When youstart tracking the objective,your waypoint will take youto the Astral Lounge in Neon.
The activity to start theDirty Laundry mission will pop up once you have spent some time in Neon, which is why it might not show up in your menu if you are visiting Neon for the first time.
Once you reach the Astral Lounge,head inside and look for Manaia towards the left sideof the raised platform located at the far end of the dance floor. After you have found Manaia, you will have the option totalk to her and begin the mission.
How To Complete Dirty Laundry
When you start the interaction with Manaia,you can ask her a series of questions about why she is Neonand her line of work. Upon inquiry,Manaia will inform you that she is an independent contractorwho closes deals for her clients.
At this point, you will have the option toask Manaia if she has some work for you. In response,Manaia will tell you that she wants to dispose of the evidence of a dealfrom one of her clients. Since she can’t do that herself, she must hire a third-party contractor for the job.
As a result, you will be sent off to a warehouse behind Neon Tactical. So, after you have completed this dialogue,head to the waypoint and reach the warehouse’s location.
To reach the warehouse,head outside the Astral Lounge and take the left route towards the Ebbside. Once you have entered the Ebbside area,reach and enter Warehouse 03 on the outer side on your left.
Head to the area immediately on your right and take the stairs to the second floor. Here,you will find a ‘Discarded Sidestar’ inside a Pharmaceutical kiton top of a shelf. Take the gun andhead back to the nearest Trade Authority merchantin Neon and sell the gun.
When you try to sell the gun, it will trigger a short dialogue with the merchant.After you show the gun to the merchant, he will agree to buy it for a low priceof 500 hundred credits since it is coming from a questionable source.
You will have the option to either sell the gun to the merchant for a low price or not to sell the gun at all.
If you want to complete the mission,you must sell the gunto the merchant at a bad price.There is no persuasion option in this dialogue, so you will have no other way to complete the mission without selling the Sidestar.
Once you have sold the gun to the Trade Authority merchant,head back to the Astral Lounge and talk to Manaia Adams. Once you tell her that you have sold the merchandise at the Trade Authority,Manaia will pay you 3,000 creditsfor your services.
