Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3has released a third set of weekly challenges for its first season, granting a powerful conversion kit for the Tyr revolver for those who complete some of this week’s challenges. The good news is that this week’s challenges are fairly easy, requiring you to land Rival-9 kills across various playlists.
If you’re comfortable using SMGs, you should have no issue unlocking the Tyr’s unique Aftermarket Part. This guide will showcase how to complete every weekly challenge added this week, and we’ll give a brief overview of how the Tyr’s new rifle conversion kit works.

Week 3 Challenge Reward
The reward this week is theJAK Beholder Rifle Kit for the Tyr.This conversion kit gives the Tyr a 3D-printed barrel and stock, greatly reducing its recoil while improving its range. Its effective damage falloff is increased to 19m, and its bullet velocity is doubled.
Despite the existence of a stock, it’s possible to install grips onto the Tyr with the Beholder RIfle Kit. This is most likely a bug.
Barrel attachments may not be installed on the Tyr while this conversion kit is equipped, but the greatly improved range stats make it a prime candidate for high magnification scopes and certain underbarrel attachments. It isn’t quite as powerful as a sniper rifle, but this conversion kit makes the Tyr a great hybrid between a pistol and marksman rifle.
