During your explorations ofStarfieldstar systems, you will encounter numerous NPCs that will assign you to smaller side missions. The Media Sponge quest in Starfield is one such side quest that sends you on an errand for an NPC you meet at Cydonia on Mars.

During your adventures in Cydonia, you will encounter one such NPC called Mitch Benjamin. Mitch, a diehard comic fan, wants to collect the first edition copies of his favorite comic. As his helper, you must collect all these copies from different locations.

How To Start The Media Sponge Quest In Starfield

To start the Media Sponge quest,head to the city of Cydonia on Marsin the Sol star system. Once you land,go to the residential areaand look for a guy named Mitch Benjamin. Once youstart the dialogue with Mitch, he will explain the circumstances that have left him stuck on Mars.

Whilethis quest is extremely short and repetitive, you can still use it to earn a decent amount of credits in the long run.

SinceMitch can not leave Cydonia, he is looking for someone with a ship to help him. At this point in the dialogue, if youtell Mitch you have a ship, he will ask you to do him a favor.

How To Complete The Media Sponge Quest In Starfield

Since Mitch’s favorite comic, Dragonstar Force had a minimal initial run,he wants to collect all the first edition copiesof the comic book series. To retrieve the comic books,Mitch will send you to a trading merchantat one of the following three locations:

Clint’s Collectibles

Gagarin Landing site

Hope Town is located on planetPolvo in the Valo system, while New Atlantis and Gagarin Landing sites are on planetJemison and Gagarin, respectively, in theAlpha Centauri system.

After you travel to one of the two locations mentioned above, you canstart a dialogue with the concerned merchantthere. The Dragonstar Forcecomic isunder the ‘Notes’ categoryin the trade menu.

The merchants will sell you the book forseventy-six to ninety credits. Although the book is not expensive,Mitch will always pay youa good amount of credit for your troubles.

Once you have bought the book from the specified merchant, you canreturn it to Mitch in Cydoniaand hand it over. Mitch will give you hisordinary copy of the Dragonstar Forceand some creditsas a reward. You will also get100 XPfor collecting the comic book for Mitch.

The amount ofcredits received will varydependingon your levelwhen you complete the mission.

Instead of easily giving the book to Mitch,you can persuade him to pay you morefor your troubles. If you succeed,you can almost double the creditsyou received for completing the mission.

How To Collect All Dragonstar Force Comics In Media Sponge

Since theDragonstar Force comic has 30 books, collecting the first book is just the start of your journey with Mitch. You will have to retrieve each of the thirty volumes of Dragonstar Force one by one, andthere is no way to collect them all at once.

This is where the Media Sponge quest will get highly repetitive since you mustgo to one of the same three merchantsevery time.

Althoughthere isn’t a reward for collecting all the books, you will have your collection of the Dragonstar Force comics by the end of the quest sinceMitch will give you each of his older copiesas a reward.
