In Palworld, you’ll spend a lot of time catching different Pals and leveling them up. You’re bound to get attached to at least a few of them, and you’ll probably give them nicknames to help set them apart, since each Pal is different. However, you won’t be told where to change your Pals names.

Thankfully, we’ve figured it out for you and can show you how to change your Pals names to be more personalized. SInce every Pal has different personalities and traits, why shouldn’t they have unique names, too? Here’s everything you need to know about changing your Pals names.

This feature appears to only be available on PC as of right now, though the game is still in early access.

How To Change Your Pals Names

To change the name of your Pals, open the options menu. From there, navigate to the Party tab, then select the Pal you want to rename. Select the option to edit them and a text box will appear. Use this to rename your Pal by adding or removing characters.

You can also use the Palbox to change your Pals names. To do so, access the Palbox then select the view menu option for the Pal you want to rename. From there, select edit next to the name and rename your Pal.

You can have up to 24 characters in a name for your Pal.

Every Pal is different, from their stats to their passive skills and work suitability. You can name them according to their task or you can give them a fun name that makes you laugh. Either way, it’s up to you–there are no restrictions.

How Many Times Can You Change Your Pals Names

There is no limit to how many times you may change your Pals names. As long as they are in your party, you can open the menu to change their names. This is incredibly useful for sorting out Pals when you want certain ones to accompany you and others to stay at your base.

Giving nicknames also personalizes the Pals, making them even more unique to you from the regular ones you’ll find roaming the wild.
