Things are never easy for the town inMy Time At Sandrock. Thanks to the Geegler President and his nefarious plan-gone-wrong, the main bridge in Sandrock is broken. Without the bridge, Sandrock is effectively cut off from other cities, and it’s up to you and your fellow builder Mi-an to help repair it.

Repairing the bridge is a long and complicated process, and you’re going to need a lot of materials and some dungeon-diving to find what you need for it. We’ll show you how to find all the materials, where to find a Power Core, and even how to fight a giant robotic cat.

How To Build The Bridge Trusses

Repairing the railway bridgeinvolves several stepswithin the main questIn Trusses We Trust, andsolving three additional quests duringit: Paradise Lost and Found, Qi’s Gungam Opus, and The Inspector.

Special commissionswill also appear at theCommerce Guild from Heidifor bridge materials. Thesedon’t count towards your daily commission limitandreward more Golsthan usual commissions.

This quest becomes available afterwitnessing the Fireside Meetingon thenext Sundayafter completing Belly of the Beastand defeating the Geegler President.

Your first task in this quest is tobuild two Trussesfor the bridge,each of whichrequiresthree materials: Bronze Frames, Steel Bars, and Copper Screws.

Once you’ve got both Trusses, head over andspeak to Heidi. She’ll accept them and tell you that you’ll need towait a little whilesince repairs are going slow.

How To Navigate Paradise Lost Ruins

Thenext dayafter talking to Heidi about the completed trusses,Qiwillsend you a letterin the mail.

He thinks there might be aPower Corein theParadise Lost Ruins, and with it, he might be able tospeed up the bridge’s repairprocess.

Similarly to other dungeons in the game, you’ll want to bring along somehealing items like Yakmel Milk, and you’ll want to haveample inventory space.

Head to the Paradise Lost ruinsnext to Eufaula Salvage, and meet up with Justice and Unsuur at the gate to the ruins for ashort cutscene. With the door fixed by Mi-an, you’ll befree to go insideParadise Lost and explore.

On the path down, you’ll befighting several enemies,such asTrotters andSweepers, and there are severalextra buildings and cavesfor you to enter withcrates to destroy, andTreasure Cheststhat you willneed to clean off with a Feather Duster.

How To Find The Orange Mall Key

Make your waydown to the bottom, and enter the Paradise Ruins. The first section is two large areas full of junk,two Damaged Sweepersto fight, and onetreasure chestpartially hiddenbymine-able dirt near a fence.

You can begin to getIron Orefrom thedirt inside these ruins, so verify to dig them up.

Walk up thebroken yellow tunnelto the second floor, then curve around through the room withtwo Trotters,two Sweepers, and aDisgruntled Security. There will be a secondtreasure chestagainst thefirst pillar with a robot signon it.

Goacross the bridge, then headup the wooden platformsto the left, bypassing the interactable console by the door. There’s also a thirdtreasure cheston a platform reachable using thethin wood beam.

Follow the path around,grab the Orange Mall Key, then headback to the consoleandinteract with itto unlock the door.

Make sure tograb any of the tiny Junk Piles, as each one can contain a useful material such asGraphite or Engines.

Fight through the next curved room, grab thetreasure chestsitting on one of thebenches against the wall, and make sure to grab theSmall Blue Key 1off themetal structure on your rightas you go through.

Take theramp back down, andyou’ll begin to run intoboth Hauler and Damaged Haulerson the bottom floor. There’s also going to be anothertreasure chestagainst the back wallnear a Damaged Hauler.

Next,head past the Damaged Sweepersandthrough the corridorusing the broken train cars.

How To Find The Yellow Mall Key

Thepath to the rightwraps around to a dead end with aDamaged Hauler and another treasure chest.After you get the chest, head back around andtake the left path, wrapping around to acorridor lined by blue chain fences. There will also be atreasure chest in a single train carbehind you.

Headthrough the next train carand out toanother areawith a Trotter, a Disgruntled Security, and a Hauler. Defeat them, then head around to thestairs blocked by a Damaged Hauler.

At the top of the stairs you’ll haveanother console and locked door, and you’ll need to wrap around to grab the key again.Head to the rightover the wooden bridges, grab theYellow Mall Key off a broken robot, and then follow the path backdown to the bottom floor and arounduntil you’re back at the console.

How To Find The Purple Mall Key

Use the Yellow Mall Key, and walk into the next room. There will beone Sweepernear the door, and anexit on the right sideof the roomnext to a Healing Station, and atreasure chest.

Ignore the exit for now, grab the chestandheal up and save if you need to. Grab theSmall Blue Key 2from ashelf in the corner, fight the next Sweeper and Disgruntled Security, and then continue around.

Defeat the Hauler and two Disgruntled Security across the bridge, thenhead down the ramp to the bottom flooragain where you’ll have to fighttwo Haulersandanother Disgruntled Security.

ThePurple Mall Keyyou’ll need next is in theleft corner of the room, sitting on aset of blue transportation chairs. Go backup to the bridgeand interact with the console to open the next door.

How To Find The Red Mall Key

Follow it around, grab thechest in the corner by the chain link fence, and then grab theSmall Blue Key 3from thebroken train car. Finally,head back to the bottom floorwhere the two Haulers and Disgruntled Security were, and you canunlock the console at the large doorswith the three blue keys.

Go through the two doors, grab thetreasure chestin thecorner behind the counter, and then continueup the stairs.The sliding door is where you’ll need to go, but head upone more floorand grab theRed Mall Keyfrom thechairs in the cornerbefore you exit to the next room.

Defeat the two Haulers, thenuse the Red Mall Keyon the console on the wall to open up aroom with three chests. Head back to the room, andhead up the rampto thelarge blue doors.

Use the lastHealing Stationif you need to andsave, then headacross the two bridgesto theorange doorto face the boss.

How To Find The Power Core

The boss you’ll be facing isControl Cat, and itcan’t be damageduntil youdestroy the three control consoleslocated on each side of the room.

Rotate aroundthe room to the right anddestroy the first console, taking care toavoid the electric rod arms. Not only do they do afair amount of damageand can break your toughness quickly, butthey’ll stun you for a few seconds, allowing the boss to get multiple hits on you.

After thefirst console is dead, the Control Cat will break down, allowing you toget to its back,where you’ll need toattack the open blue porton its back.

Once thefirst port is destroyed, the Control Cat willwake back upandincrease its rotation speed. Heal as you need, thenrepeat the processfor thenext two consolesand thenext two portson its back.

Defeat the Control Cat, and you’ll get theStrange Power Corefrom its body, andseveral tier-two materials,such as Bronze Plates and Copper Wire.Take the exitin the room, and you’ll beback outside the Paradise Ruins.

With the Power Core in hand,head over to the Research Center, and you’ll get abrief cutscene with Qi. Turns out the core you found is even better than expected, and you’ll need towait for his results.

How To Build The R-47 Mobile Suit

Check your mailthe next day,and Qi will tell you he’s had a breakthrough, so head on over to theResearch Center.

Go inside, and you’ll get abrief scenewith Heidi and him, and he’ll tell you about his key to building the bridge quicker:a mobile suit​​​​​​.

To make theR-47 Mobile Suit, you’ll needfive materials: Simple Circuits, Rubber Shells, Steel Bars, Old Parts, and the Strange Power Core you got from the Control Cat.

Once you’ve got the mobile suit crafted, head over to the railway bridge andspeak with Heidi. She’ll thank you for the suit and tell you that thebridge basewill beready in two days.

How To Make The Magneto Inductive Inspector

One dayafter giving Heidi the mobile suit, the bridge’s inspector will arrive, and you’ll get abrief cutscene with a quick-time eventinvolving him.

After the scene,bring Mint over to the City Hall, and you’ll find out he’s forgotten the tool he needs to actually inspect the bridge, theMagneto Inductive Inspector, and you’ll need tobuild him one.

Waitone more day, and you’ll get thediagram in your mailbox. The Magneto Inductive Inspectorneeds three materials: Glass Lens, Rubber Shells, and a Bronze Frame.

Once you’ve got the Magneto Inductive Inspector,bring it tothe Minton theridge overlooking the bridge, and you’ve just gottawait one more day.

How To Repair The Railway Bridge

Thenext morningafter delivering the inspector to Mint, you’llautomatically teleportto the bridge site afterexiting your home.

Take thetwo trusses, andinstall them on each endof the bridge, and you’ll finally have the bridge repaired.

Speak to Heidiand Mi-an, and you’ll get apretty hefty set of rewardsfor your help: 2,000 Gols, 2,100 Experience Points, 15 Relationship Points with Heidi, 40 Workshop Reputation, and a perfect qualityFroggy Explorer Vest.
