As you dive deeper intoPalworld, you’ll discover plenty of objects to build through your Technology tab. Among those options will be Stairs, which are a nice addition to buildings, but they can be confusing to use. You may find it frustrating to have all the materials you need, but you’re able to’t craft the Stairs.

While it may not seem clear at first, you have rules to follow when you build Stairs. On top of that, the Technology section doesn’t state what unlocks Stairs among the chosen upgrades. However, stairs remain crucial for building, since they help you reach higher levels while allowing yout some creativity to make intricate designs as you understand how placing works.

How To Make Stairs

You’ll start byreaching Player Level two, which you can do by performing actions, like catching Pals, defeating them, and collecting resources. You’ll then open your inventory, go to the Resources tab, andunlock the Wooden Structure Set.

Youonly need two wood to build Stairs, which you can find lying on the ground or by chopping down nearby trees. You can open the Build menu, go to the Foundations tab, and select the Stairs to get started.

How To Place Stairs

You can’t place Stairs without attaching them to a structureyou built. For instance, you will need create a Foundation, Walls, or a Roof and attach your Stairs to them.

Once you have the materials, you can build the stairs in a few easy steps.

You’ll knowyou can attach them when they turn blueand snap to the object. Otherwise, they’ll be red, indicating you can’t place it.

you may’t attach Stairs to other surfaces, such as towers or buildings you may encounter in the world. You alsocan’t attach the Stairs to land, cliffs, or any other similar objects.

How To Get Creative With Attaching Stairs

Even though the building may seem restrictive at first, you canget creative with how you attach Stairs to your structures.

For example, you canadd a Foundation, stack two or three Walls on top of each other, then have a Roof danglingon the other side. You can then attach a Stair to it, giving you more creative options with how you design your building.

Even though some pieces can be in the air,they need enough support from Foundations, Walls,andRoofs. You’ll get a message at the bottom of the screen if your structure doesn’t have support, so keep that in mind as you build.
