If you have been playingLego: Fortnitefor some time, you may have noticed how traveling across the world to collect different materials is quite cumbersome. To remedy this issue, many talented players have used the dynamic foundation to create various vehicles that can move much faster than running.
One of these many inventions is a Monorail, which consists of an incredibly long, thin railway that the dynamic foundation can glide across. While creating the railway for this transportation system is relatively easy, there are some important details to keep in mind.

How To Craft Monorail Tracks
To begin constructing a Monorail, you first need to build the railway tracks that the cart can glide across. The easiest way to build a railway is with thin Wooden Floors, because this specific flooring only costs one piece of wood each.
Before you begin placing anything, you will want to climb up a tall mountain or create multiple staircases that go straight up to the sky. You’ll want these tracks to be high above anything on the ground,so you can ensure that your monorail will never run into any trees or mountains that block you from moving.
If you are having trouble placing the Wooden Floors in a straight line, activate snap-building mode. This allows you to snap objects together, so you can walk forward andcontinually place the flooring without any interference.
How To Craft Monorail Stations
Unfortunately, there is a build limit within Lego Fortnite that only allows you to only place a specific number of connected items together, meaning you may reach a distance where you can no longer place any more Wooden Floors. To work around this limitation, you can create a Monorail Station in the middle of your track, where you exit one Monorail and board another on a different track.
To craft a Monorail Station, all you need is a large amount of Wood or Granite since you will essentially be creating a floating platform in the sky. Create some stairs that lead up to slightly below the Monorail Track, then create a large, flat area out of flooring.
Make sure that this Monorail Station connects to the other section of the track, because this will reset the build limit and allow you to continue your Railway. Finally, all you need to add are some extra staircases on the Monorail Station itself that lead up to boarding platforms,so you can easily jump onto another Monorail without having to use a plunger.
While building both the Monorail Tracks and Stations, we seriously recommend havinga gliderequipped during the building process. Since this project is quite high in the sky and contains some precarious platforms, you’ll want a glider handy if you happen to slip and fall off.
How To Craft A Monorail
Once you have completed your Monorail Stations and Tracks, it is time to create the actual vehicles that will glide across these railways and deliver you to your destination. To build a working Monorail, you will need to use items from theToyssection of the build catalog, because these items are made to move around and interact with the environment.
To craft a Monorail that travels in one direction, you should collect all the resources necessary to build these items:
x1Dynamic Foundation
x4Flexwood
x1 Activation Switch
x1 Wood, x1 Blast Powder
To create items such as Dynamic Foundations and Wheels, you must collect a large amount of Flexwood from the Dry Valley biome.Any cacti in the Dry Valley can be cut down for Flexwood, which can then be turned into the items that form a Monorail.
Luckily, although the Monorail contains many moving parts, it is relatively easy to create once you have all the materials. First, place the Dynamic Foundation onto the Monorail Track and ensure thatthe foundation is even on both sides. Then, place six Small Wheelson the underbelly of the foundation, with the wheels as close as possible to the Monorail Track.
After that, all you need to do isattach the three Thrusters onto the back of the Dynamic Foundation, and use an Activation Switch to provide power. Once all these steps are complete, you can take off and continuallypress the Activation Switch whenever you need to move.
