Every moon you’ll visit in your quest for quota-making inLethal Companyis a dangerous place. Enemies can come barreling down corridors, traps can kill, and you may succumb to the weather. Even walking on the surface can lead to your untimely demise, especially on planets like Offense.

Offense’s rocky, arid terrain is frequently surveyed by the terrifying Eyeless Dogs, and if that wasn’t bad enough, this moon does its best to live up to its reputation as difficult by having a complex of equally dangerous enemies. To get your scrap back and make quota, you’ll need to be knowledgeable.

Offense is one of the twoIntermediate difficulty planetsalongside March, and it has alot of high hills, rocks, cliffs, and moregiant-pumpkinsthan some of the other planets.

It has alayout similar to Assurance, but with a greater size, andmore placesfor bothyou and enemies to hide, makingEyeless Dogs a particular hazard on Offense, as they can suddenlyappear from on top of hills.

Offensecan spawn a Mansionas a complex design, but it has avery small chanceof doing so, atabout 1.32 percent chanceof appearing.

How To Find Offense’s Main Entrance

From the landing zone, you’ll need tohead back and around several rock clustersin order toreach the main entranceof Offense’s complex.

As you approach, you’ll see several smaller metal structures, such as thelarge yellow platform near the landing zone, and a few small buildings and somescaffolding closer to the main entrance.

Player character shining a proflashlight on an Extension Ladder fully extended up to the ridge with the Fire Exit in Lethal Company.

They can beused as landmarks, especially as it gets dark, but they also serve asgood vantage pointsto scout for spawning enemies, orhide fromEyeless Dogs, who havetrouble getting up the structuresor can’t get to them at all in the case of the yellow platform.

From the main entrance, you can eitherwind back around the rocksin order to reach your ship,or you can take a shortcut back.

you may climb up thehillacross from the main entrance, andcross the broken-down 18-wheeler truckon topto the next hill, and slide down for ashortcut back to your ship.

Theyellow platform near your shipcan also bejumped onto from the hills, and you candrop large scrap off it, thenuse the shortcutback to the entrance tomove large scrap pieces faster.

How To Find Offense’s Fire Exit

Offense’s Fire Exit is located on thefar right side of the map, away from the main entranceto the complex, andsits high upon amountain-side ridge.

Thanks to this location, itcan only be accessedin two ways: byusing an Extension Ladder, orusing the pipes running across the mapto reach it.

If you’re opting for thesafer route ofusing the Extension Ladder, you’ll need tobring one overto the Fire Exit’s ridge, andplace it downon theraised ground closest to the large tankardconnected to the pipeline.

For thequicker, but slightly more dangerous route, youuse the large pipelinerunning across the map. To reach it, you’ll need to carefully time ajump off the back of your shipwhile it’s landing.

Offense isone of the safer planetsto be onwhen it’sEclipsed, as you canavoid most outside enemy spawnswith thepipeline shortcut, and only need to worry about those inside, and getting back to the ship.

The pipelinesrun all the wayto where the Fire Exit is, and you canjump back and forthbetween themand theFire Exit’s ridge, giving you asafe way to and from the shipas long asyou make the initial jump.

If youhave a Jetpack, you canreach the shipfrom the pipeline shortcutevenduring the Flooded or Eclipsed weather conditions.

Most Common Enemies On Offense

True to its classification as an Intermediate Planet, Offense boaststwo of the more dangerous enemies, the fast and furiousThumperand the sneaky, web-layingBunker Spider, as itsmost common spawns inside the complex.

Offense is alsoone of the earliest planetswhere the rare andincredibly dangerous Nutcracker enemycan spawn, though thechance is extremely low.

WhileBunker Spiderscan beextremely dangerous, they can bekilled rather easily with a Shovelor other melee weapon, oravoided entirelyas long as you’recareful not to step on or break their webs.

You’ll want toworry about Thumpersthe most, as they caneasily outrun you even when you’re running, especially if you’re in a long hallway. They also sport bothhigh damage and high attack speed, and can bedifficult to kill, thoughit’s possibleto do so if youattack while moving backwards.

Despite their strength and speed, Thumpers also havetwo pretty big weaknesses: theirlack of hearing, and their ability to goup and down staircases. Since they can’t hear, crouchingcankeep you from being detectedas long as youdon’t get in their line of sight.

If they have detected you, regular staircasesorcertain rooms, such as theBalcony Pit Room or the Factory Room,if theyhave favorable door locations, can be used as aplace to help them lose track of you.

You cantrick Thumpers into following youup or into them, thenjump down or acrossto another path for afew extra seconds of timeto escape.

If youbreak their line of sight long enoughand keep crouched,Thumpers can lose where youare entirely, but they willreturn to where they last saw you.

Between thetwo most common enemy spawns, andmore expensive scrap items such as Large Axle, Plastic Fish, and Tea Kettleshaving ahigher spawn chance, Offense is a planet of bothmedium risk and high reward.

Baboon Hawks are thesecondmost common enemyand tend tospawn in much greater numbers, and thelarger their group, themore aggressive and dangerousthey become.

Theywon’t hesitate to attackeven if yougroup up with your teammates, or usenoise-creating items like the Boombox, or either theClown Horn or Airhorn.

While it’sextremely rare,Forest Keepers can spawnon Offense, and therelatively flat terrainin several areas, combined with the hills, canmake them spot you quickly.
