Bruin, Blade of the Kingdual wields two swords,using them for both close-up and ranged attacksin the spacious arena where you face him.

His initial move involvesa two-swing combo, providing you withan opportunity to shoot, heal, or reload. When at a distance, Bruincharges his swords and rushes for a lethal strike.

Keep an eyeon the energy animation as a signal to dodgeorrun to the opposite side of the arena, where he’ll struggle to reach you. He often follows this with his two-hit combo so don’t get too greedy.

Bruin can occasionallydodge bulletsor use evasive moves to close in for a melee combo.

When Bruin’s health reaches about halfway,he leaps to an upper platform,unleashing a barrage of swords and summoning angelic Faes. Handling both challenges simultaneously can be tough, but a clever tactic is todash to Bruin’s location and position yourself on the lower platform.

This prompts him to execute ajump-down attack, creating an opportunity for you toswiftly deal with the angelic Faes while underneath him. This strategic move helps ensure they won’t disturb your focus during the fight.

Bruin Blade Of The King Strategy

As soon as you step into Bruin’s boss arena,he’ll rush at you and perform his charged powerful attack. Dodge it first, then start shooting.Give yourself some roomto avoid his close-range combo, and keep shooting until he closes in.

When he goes for his melee combo, either dodge it or, better yet,run to the opposite side of the arena and shoot again.

If Bruin jumps to a high platform,quickly follow him and position yourself underneath. This ensures you avoid his throwing blades, which can be difficult to dodge.

While he is up there,take out as many angel Fae as you can, so you only have to deal with Bruin later.

When he comes back down to the lower platform, it’s wise torun to the other side and start shooting. He takes some time to reach you, but don’t just keep shooting and get greedy;keep an eye on your ammo.

A handy trick we’ve found is to run to the far end, keep firing, let him approach, then dash to the other side, and shoot once more.

However, don’t get too comfortable with this, as he might start using his charged attack more frequently.
