There are all sorts of enemies to deal with inLethal Company, from the small but deadly Snare Flea, to the tree-like Forest Keepers, but the largest of them all is the Earth Leviathan. These giant worms are titans in every sense of the word, and there isn’t any way to kill them due to their size.

These worms can appear on any planet, whether it’s Experimentation or Rime, and they’ll always be a potential threat. Despite that and their size, countering an Earth Leviathan is surprisingly easy. If you’re having trouble with them, here’s how to avoid their big jaws and get to your ship safely.

What Are Earth Leviathans

Earth Leviathans are massiveground-dwelling worms, and theyprimarily show up after 4pmon most moons, oftencoinciding with Eyeless Dogs, especially on planets like Assurance.

These worms can’t see where you are, so theydetermine your location by your footsteps, andlock onto your locationonce they’ve noticed you.

Earth Leviathans candetect youand your teammatesevenwhen you’re crouched.

There aretwo phasesthat occurbefore they actually attack:

Afew seconds after the particlesshow up, the Earth Leviathan willcome up from the groundanddevour everythingin its immediate radius, including you, your scrap, and even other enemies.

How To Deal With Earth Leviathans

Thekey to avoiding deathfrom them lies in thetwo phases prior to their attack. When youhear the roar, stop andwait for the particlesto show up, thenrun backwardsin thedirection that you came from.

If you’requick enough, the Earth Leviathan willcome up where you used to be, and you’refree to run back to the shipor to the complex while it’s making its way back down to the ground.

Theyaren’t as dangerous by themselves, but they canmake dealing with other enemies, like Eyeless Dogs and Forest Keepers, more of a hassle.
