Completing stages inVampire Survivorsoften grants plenty of rewards and modifications that can be used to experiment with future runs. Adventures are no different, offering their own strict set of playable characters and stage modifications that can be used to create self-imposed challenge runs. The Ascension option is another modification that can further complicate Adventures.
After completing any Adventure you choose, you’ll be given the option to Ascend the Adventure. Ascension is an irreversible choice that will permanently impact the progress you’ve made in an Adventure. While it won’t affect the base game, it’s worth learning all you may about Ascension before leaping.

Ascend Adventure
To choose to Ascend an Adventure,you must firsthaveAdventures unlockedfrom the base game.You’ll be given the option to Ascend an Adventureafter completing every task in the Adventure’s Progress menu,and choosing to Ascendwill reset all of your progress on the adventure, functioning similarly to a New Game Plus option.
None of your progress will carry overin an Ascended Adventure. Upon ascension,you’ll only have access to several Relicsthat you obtained in the Base Game.
You’re grantedone Ascension Point every time you Ascend an Adventure. These points can be used topermanently increase your Luck, Growth, Greed, and Curse statsfor all future runs, and they can be freely reassigned to different stats if you ever need a different set of improved stats to quickly clear an Adventure.
Luck affects the odds ofbetter chests spawning, Growth affects theamount of experience gained, Greed affects theamount of gold gained, and Curse affects thespeed, health, quantity, and frequency of enemies.
Improving yourGrowth and Greed stats is essentialfor quickly completing an Adventure.First, take time to improve your Greedso you can easily purchase all the Power-Ups you need, and after that, you mustreassign your Ascension Points towards Growthto swiftly cut through the Progress tasks.
