Time has fractured in several places across the Valley thanks to the Forgetting’s dark magic inDisney Dreamlight Valley, but with it comes the chance for old friends to appear again. Jafar is one of those who got lost but, the new time fractures have let him speak to you again.

It turns out he’s been stranded on one of the forgotten realms of the Valley all this time, and you’ll have to make the journey to Eternity Isle if you want to rescue him. A certain wizard with a long white beard and a long pointy hat might just know how to get you there, but that isn’t all you’ll have to do if you want to help Jafar.

How To Unlock The Secrets Of Eternity Isle

After purchasing the Rift in Time Expansion, you’ll receive a cutscene upon loading into the game, then automatically teleport to thenew Mysterious Device, located in thetop right corner of the plaza’s fountain area.

ARift in Time is a paid DLC Expansion and costs $29.99and must bepurchased from either the main menuof Disney Dreamlight Valley, or its respective store page in order to access Eternity Isle, and its subsequent quests.

Speak with Jafar, and he’ll tell you that he’sstranded on Eternity Isle, a lost section of the Valley. Like with many magical predicaments in the Valley,Merlin holds the answer to it.

How To Complete The Port Of Many Worlds

Locate andspeak to Merlin, and he’ll answer that he knows the way to Eternity Isle. After the conversation,meet Merlin at the Dream Castlein front of the largeiron gate on the third floor.

Speak with him again, thengo through the opened gateand into the Stardust Port. Head to thesecond pathway on the rightwith thelit blue symbolabove it, theninteract with the shipto head over to Eternity Isle.

How To Unlock The Ancient Gate

Upon arriving,speak with Jafar againat the Hologram Station, and he’ll tell you tofind the Ancient Gate, and speak with him there again.

Instead of Night Thorns, the Eternity Islegenerates Splinters of Fate, and these can becleared by interacting with them.

Clear any Splinters of Fate out of your way, and make your wayup the stairs onto the square, and theninteract with the Hologram Stationin front of the Ancient Gate. Speak with Jafar again, and he’ll confirm you’re at the right spot, but unfortunately, theAncient Gate is closed.

To open the gate, you’ll need toput the Ancient Sphere back in place, but it’s been broken, and itspieces scattered around The Docksby a “metal nuisance”.

Thefirst half of the sphereis in the ground in the cornernext toScrooge’s white and teal shop building, near a large tree root and a mining spot. Thesecond half of the sphereis on the ground on the main path,near Goofy’s shop stall.

Once you’ve got both halves,head back to the main squareand over to thecrafting bench sitting against the stone wallnext to your home. Look under theFunctional Items tab, then craft the Ancient Sphere.

Put the Ancient Sphere on theblue pedestalin front of the Ancient Gate, theninteract with the gateto open it.

With the gate open,head through the corridorand into The Courtyard section of Eternity Isle.Speak to Jafarat the next Hologram Stationnear the shattered bridge, and you’ll get a small EXP reward for completing this quest.
