Palworldbrings a new mix of monster collecting and survival mechanics, in a world where you will find different Pals to befriend and take with you on your journey. However, sometimes you will have to engage other Pals in combat, which can be difficult if you’re not properly prepared.
Every Pal out there will have one of the many elemental types these monsters can possess, which could either prove to be an advantage or a hindrance in the heat of battle. Since understanding the mechanics behind that aspect is key, here’s all that you need to know.

What Are The Elemental Types?
In Palworld, dozens of Pals can be found in the wild, andeach Pal can possess one or two Elemental Types.Depending on the element of your Pal’s attack moves,you might inflict some extra damage to certain elements, and at the same time, your Pal’s elemental type will also be weak against another element.
Since fighting other pals will be a mandatory aspect of the game,you should keep those advantages and disadvantages in mind during combat.Each one of the Pal’s attacks will have an Elemental category of their own, and you can even teach them new ones, soyou must try to cover for all the weaknesses your Pal might have.
You can teach a Pal new moves using a Skill Fruit,found in trees or on the floor across the map.
