WhilePalworldis filled with turmoil, from raids to alpha Pal bosses, you can find quiet civilizations across the world. In these civilizations, you’ll find merchants, islanders, and police that work to keep the peace against the threat of Pals and Syndicate Thugs. Whether you accidentally hit a stranger with a stray arrow while hunting or intentionally attack a settlement, sooner or later you’ll get the Wanted status.
Once you have it, it can be difficult to get rid of. You’ll be followed by police across the archipelago until you’re defeated or manage to lose your pursuers. Here’s everything you need to know about the Wanted status.

Palworld is still in Early Access, so the information is subject to change, and we will update this article if and when it changes.
What Is Wanted Status?
When youattack a human unprovoked, you’ll gain the attention of the police and bewanted for assault. This can multiply depending on how many people you attack, even if they’re the officers attacking you.
Be careful when using the Three Shot Bow, as a stray arrow can hit a person.
Youwon’t gain this status by defending your basefrom raids, but you can get this status bytrying to catch people inPal Spheres. This is also considered assault, so be careful with your aim.
How To Lose Wanted Status
There are several ways to remove your Wanted status, and the best course of action depends on how you’re playing. If you can’t afford to lose items, you’ll need to get away with everything intact.
Running Away
Once you’rebranded as a Wanted criminal, you’ll have to run. Unless you’rea high enough level(and have the resources) to fend off the PIDF officers, you willbe overwhelmed quickly.
Even if you’re sure no one saw your crime, the PIDF know what you’re up to and will attempt to stop illegal activity.
To lose your Wanted status, you’ll need toget somewhere farenough awaythat the PIDF cannot see youanymore. This can be tricky as they will sometimes spawn in and restart the timer, but it can be done. It will take a few minutes and you’ll have to remain hidden.
One of thebest places to hide is out at sea, behind large bones or in crevices where you cannot be seen. These are places that the PIDF cannot see through or get to on their own most times, making them the perfect places to hide out.
The PIDF are relentless and can swim, so you’ll likely need toget up high and break the line of sight.
While you can send out Pals to distract the officers, this can make your bounty much worse. Keep this in mind as you try to get away.
Giving Up
Instead of running, you can let the officers kill you. This will clear your bounty and allow you to respawn elsewhere. It’s not ideal, but if you turn off the drop items upon death setting, there’s nothing to lose.
Eliminate Witnesses
You can alternatively fight it out, taking out officers and any other witnesses to your crime. This will be a long and arduous task unless you’re a high level and have the right Pals to back you up.
This is not advisable, and may lead to your character’s death.
