Sujimon make their triumphant return inLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealthafter their memorable (and ridiculous) debut inYakuza: Like A Dragon. However, unlike in the past, this time Sujimon is more than simply a cute term to use when referring to the multitude of enemy types roaming around.
This time, Kasuga can encounter, capture, and battle Sujimon like never before, on his path to becoming a true Sujimon master. While the various enemy types you’ll encounter in street battles are still referred to as Sujimon, the capture, and training of Sujimon includes an entirely separate level-up and roster system that doesn’t share the same arena or mechanics of typical street battles.

What Are Sujimon?
The wordSujimonis essentially another way to refer to enemies thatcan be battled or used in battle.
While Sujimon were solely enemy types in Yakuza: Like A Dragon, in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth,Sujimon now have two major roles:
You’ll encounter theenemyform of Sujimon from the beginning of the game, but you must advance through Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s story to discover their alternative purpose.
As in Pokemon, some ofLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s Sujimon are rare, hidden in locations throughout the map – from special battles to the area around Kasuga’s house.

How Do You Access Sujimon?
Once youreach chapter fourand prepare to take the story further on your way to District Five,you’ll receive an unexpected text messagefrom an old friend:the Sujimon Sensei.
After receiving the text, head over tothe PC Shop in the Anaconda Shopping Centerto initiate the Sujimon introductory cutscene.
The PC Store is in thenortheast section on the second level of the Anaconda Shopping Center, diagonally across from Abaca Rondo.
Once you re-acquaint yourself with the Sujimon Sensei, you’ll be thrust into the underground world ofthe Sujimon Battle League, and tasked with becoming the Champion.
After your first battles as a Sujimon Trainer, you’ll be able to encounter Sujimon and be introduced to additional mechanics forcapturing, raising, and battling your Sujimon.
How Do You Collect More Sujimon?
There arefour major waysto catch new Sujimon to add to your team of six.
The basic, type and Japan Gacha acceptscash or tickets.
The Type Gacha pool will only featureSujimonof thedesignatedtype.
After you complete your tutorialwith the Sujimon Sensei and understand the basics, you’ll notice that SujiSpots, SujimonTrainers, and SujimonRaidswillbegin spawningon themap.
Gacha ticketscan be acquired by winning Sujimon battles, or by visiting Suji Spots.
Interact with any of these locations or people,and you’ll begin stockpiling theresourcesandexperiencepoints necessary to grow your Sujimon Roster and enhance your favorite Sujimon.
What Can You Do With Sujimon?
Sujimon can beencounteredduring Sujimon battles, then subsequentlycaptured,trained, and added to yourSujimon team of six for battle(three starters and three in reserve on the bench) en route to becoming a Sujimon Champion.
Use your Sujimon Dossier tokeep track of the Sujimonyou have already encountered.
The Sujimon Dossier serves the same purpose as a Pokedex from Pokemon: it displays essential statistics and funny bits of information for each Sujimon.
You can check your available Sujimon party, roster, dossier, raids, and rivalsfrom anywhereby selecting theSujimon League in the menu.
However,you must visit Suji Spots– objects that resemble parking meters – spread across Hawaii totrain,awaken, andevolveyour Sujimon using Sujimunch and Sujimon fodder.
The Sujidex, found on your Smartphone, is used toview standard enemy Sujimon only– not the Sujimon you may use for Sujimon battles.
Once your Sujimon is trained, you canview your rosterof available Sujimon andset up your Sujimon teamand bench before hopping into battle.
