While most starter jobs are pretty well-rounded, Kiryu’s is very much an offense-focused class. His big weakness is MP, but his staggeringly high HP and attack power really make up for it. As for his skills, Kiryu gets a pretty nice smorgasbord of skills that both deal damage, but also apply a buff to him or a debuff to his enemies. He can lower defense, cause bleeding, inflict rage, lower attack, raise his own attack, and stun enemies using his skills.

The attacks that stand out, however, would be hisEssence of Bowling, which hits a row of enemies and raises his attack, as well as hisEssence of the Dragon God, which is the most powerful ultimate attack in the game.
