What is Fortnite Festival?
Fortnite Festival is a new game mode added to Fortnite. It allows you to hop into matches,play with up to three players, and jam out to music.
You can choose between four tracks:Guitar/Keytar, Bass, Vocals, and Drums. You can choose from four difficulties, with Easy, Medium, and Hard having four note tracks on the screen and Expert including five.
How To Play Fortnite Festival
Fortnite Festival is a game mode in Fortnite, so if your client is up-to-date, you can immediately play it.
If you don’t have Fortnite, you candownload it through the Epic Games Store on PCand through the regular stores for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
It comes with two game modes: Main Stage and Jam Stage. Main Stage has you play the standard game mode for points while Jam Stage lets you mix and match different song clips with others.
You’ll find the game modes on the starting screen, but if they don’t appear,click the Search icon and look up Festival. Both game modes will be the first results, then select one and hit the Play button.

How To Sync Your Notes In Fortnite Festival
Since people play on different devices and setups, you’ll sometimes experience audio or video lag. If you want to fix it,approach the Stage Tech in the backstage and choose Tune-Up, then Start.
The first one will have youfix the video lag by adjusting when the note reaches the middle lineto the beat playing. You’ll then do the same, but press a button when the note reaches the middle, fixing the audio lag.
How Do I Change The Button Layout?
Bring up your menu, click the Setting Icon, then pick Settings.Go to the Layout section, and scroll down until you see Main Stage. you may change the controls for the four and five button layouts with multiple binding options
What Do The Up Arrow Notes Mean?
Theup arrows are notes that you can play by letting go of the corresponding buttonwhen you reach the arrow. This is useful for fast sections, so you don’t have to mash buttons, though you can press the up arrows if you prefer.
How Do I Change My Instrument And Difficulty Settings?
Before the song starts,you’ll see the instruments and difficulties in the bottom right corner. Pick the settings you want with the corresponding buttons and hold the Ready button to start.
You can swap instruments and difficulty settings between songs. Unlike some rhythm games,you don’t need one person in each role.
What’s The Difference Between Stars And Band Stars?
Playing songs and maintaining combos will contribute to your Star rating. You can get between one to five stars, and if you perform a song almost perfectly, you can get five gold stars.
The left Stars are yours while the right Stars are your band’s. Extra points you get from instrument variety and band multipliers will count toward the band side.
At the end of a song, you’ll see each player’s Star rating along with the Band’s Star rating. That means evenif you’re teamed up with people who aren’t as good, you still get rewardedfor your performance.
Can I Play The Game Solo, With Friends, Or With Random Players?
Yes, the game lets you play by yourself, with friends, or with random people.To play alone, pick the No Fill option, then press Play, which will let you go into the lobby, pick the songs you want, and play through the setlist.
If you want to play with friends,choose the Main Stage and invite your friends. You can then start once they’re ready by selecting No Fill to play with just your friends or Fill to include random players.
To play with random players, you canpick Fill then start the match.
Why Does The Game Sometimes Not Count My Band Stars And Take A While To Start A Song?
Don’t worry if the song doesn’t start as soon as you load onto the stage:this is normal if a player leaves the group before the song starts. Your characters will stand on the stage for a minute or so, but the song will start.
You won’t earn any Band Stars if this happens,but you’ll get personal Stars. However, if no one leaves during this or the next song, the following songs in the playlist will reward you with Band Stars.
Does Fortnite Festival Have A Battle Pass?
Fortnite Festival has its own version called a Festival Pass. The first pass includes 11 free and paid tiers, letting you unlock new dance moves, songs, and cosmetics for your instruments and characters.
If you want the premium rewards, you’ll need to pay 1800 V-Bucks.The pass also doesn’t earn you V-Bucks like the Battle Pass, so you’ll need to pay for each pass.
Can I Work On The Battle And Festival Passes At The Same Time?
Yes,if you play Fortnite Festival, it will count toward your Battle Pass. It doesn’t work the other way around, so if you want to be as efficient as possible, you should play Fortnite Festival to rank up tiers for both.
How Do I Go Up In Tiers In Fortnite Festival?
Just playing the game won’t earn you points:you need to complete Quests. You can click Quests in the Lobby, and it’ll show you the ones currently available and how many points you’ll earn from each one.
They come in multiple forms: Daily Quests, Weekly Quests, and Milestones.The Jam Stage Daily and Weekly Quests will also count toward your Festival Pass, making them both worth playing.
You canselect any of the quests and track them. This is especially useful for the 30 minutes of daily Jam Stage quests.
How To Buy Fortnite Festival Songs
You canclick Festival Pass at the top of the screen and select Upgradenext to the rewards. You can then click Get V-Bucks, which requires you to buy two of the 1,000 V-Bucks or one of the 2,800 V-Bucks to pay for the Festival Pass.
If you want to buy songs,pick Shop at the top of the Lobby, select Take Your Stage, then Jam Tracks. At this time, all the songs are sold for 500 V-Bucks a piece.
How To Play Songs You Don’t Own
You can play songs you haven’t bought under two circumstances: if youplay with someone who owns the song or if it’s in the rotation. This applies to random people you pair with, so you can always add them after the game to play those songs again.
You’ll have New songs that appear along withFeatured Songs that will rotate each day.
