There are a lot of skills available inThe Sims 4. So many, in fact, that it’s possible to not learn them all. If you are aiming to have the best Sim though, you may try to have them learn every skill out there. With a relatively short lifespan, cheats can help your Sim become the best.
In this guide, we are going to cover all skill-related cheats out there. In general, you can use these cheats to increase a Sim’s skill to a desired level; you can even max out the skill, having them become an immediate pro.

How To Enable Cheats
If you’ve used cheats, then you are familiar with how to enable them. If not, we will go through the steps real quick. First,press the following buttons depending on your console.
Console (Xbox and PlayStation)
All 4 Shoulder Buttons
Doing this will open a white box, where you will need to type in"testingcheats true".A message should appear, saying that cheats are enabled; when this pops up, you are good to go!
How To Use Skill Cheats
The skill cheat formatremains the same for every skill in the game,you just need to tweak the skill in question. The basic skill cheat layout can be seen below.
Let’s use the Video Game skill as an example. If you wanted to boost your Sim’s gaming skills to level ten, you would enter the following cheat. Immediately after using this, the skill will become level ten, and you willreceive all associated rewards.
You won’t have to guess how skills are displayed, we will go over those next.
Cheats For Every Skill In The Sims 4
Not all skill names are simple. Additionally, there are different types of skills, like major and minor. Below, you’re able to find the cheat toboost each skill to its maximum level,separated by type.
Major Skill Cheats
These are the typical skills that you think about, such as Cooking or Piano. Each skillrequires “Major_” directly before the skill nameto indicate its type.

Can You Lower A Skill?
You can alsouse these cheats to lower a skill.Thankfully, they are used the same. For example, if a Sim is level eight of the Video Game skill, you can use the following cheat to bring them back to level four.
Can You Level Up Every Skill At The Same Time?
In thevanilla version of The Sims 4,no; youcannot level up every skill at the same time.If you use cheats, you will need to do one at a time.
With the MC Command Center (MCCC), you will be able to do this though. From the Command Center,head to ‘Cheats’, ‘Sim Info’, and then ‘Skill Cheats’; here you will be able to set multiple skills at the same time.You’ll be able to click on any amount (including all of them), and then type in the skill level that you want.
