Just like with Kasuga, Kiryu can engage in some heartfelt, alcohol-fueled heart-to-hearts inLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. And who better to start with than the ever-reliable Nanba? Excitingly, Nanba’s Drink Links will fill you in on what Nanba was getting up to in between the previous game and Infinite Wealth.
Naturally, we aren’t here just to get to know Nanba better, we’re also here to improve Kiryu’s Awakening stats. This guide will help lead you through each potential dialogue choice and what Awakening stat they’ll improve. We’ll also detail all the goodies you’ll unlock once you complete Nanba’s Drink Links. Now, let’s get the Dragon of Dojima some coffee already!
Nanba Drink Link Choices
First of all, we should note that while, in principle, Drink Links work the same way for Kiryu as they do for Ichiban, there is one substantial difference. While Kasuga hassixPersonality stats to worry about, Kiryu only has three stats to juggle.This means that every single dialogue choice will provide you with an opportunity to target any Awakening stat you like.
Beyond that, everything else is the same.You’ll unlock a new Drink Link for Nanba with every ten bond levels you gain.

Nanba’s Level 5 Drink Link
You’ll confront the harasser and four of his drunken underlings. They are all level 32. While the harasser will use the standard three-hit combo, the others will use the “Pistol Spitter” attack where they spit alcohol at you. None of them are particularly durable, so Kiryu and Nanba should be able to make short work of them.
Nanba Drink Link Rewards
Once you beat the old man, you will be rewarded with 10,000 Experience Points, 9.002 Job Experience Points, $16,500, and theHomeless Guy’s Cane. Beyond that,you will also acquire his Tech Inspector outfit!
You will also get a bunch of Geodes, but there is an element of chance at play, as we receivedslightlydifferent things on different attempts.
