As you exploreLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s Dondoko Island, you’ll find you’re surrounded with all manner of weird and wonderful bugs, fish, and other items to collect. You’ll need to gather quite a few of these if you want to completeSuggestion Missionsand please your guests.
If you want to fill out your Dokopedia and collect every last bug, we have a complete list here of where you may find each one, how much its worth, and if there are any requirements to getting to those areas.
These bug locations are based on our own personal playthrough, and so you might find the same bug in other areas also.
How To Catch Bugs
Once you’ve been given your bug catching net, you simply need tocreep up on a bug and press the button to catch it. Many bugs have the same appearance on the island, but once you catch them, they can result in variations or different rarities.
Rarer bugs move more quickly and are more likely to run/fly away as you approach.
Available as soon as you unlock Dondoko Island.
Dondoko Beach
The southern beach, available as soon as you unlock Dondoko Island.
Gachapin Beach
The eastern beach, available as soon as you unlock Dondoko Island.
Mukku Beach
The western beach, available as soon as you unlock Dondoko Island.
Available after you reach a two-star island.
The Cave
Available after you reach a three-star island. There is a tunnel that joins the Cave and the Forest, this opens once you have cleared both areas.
The Forest
Available after you reach a three-star island. You can also descend a ladder at the back of the area and find dragonflies there.

Here is our complete list of bugs and where to find them. You canincrease their base selling price by collecting enough of each type to hit various milestones.
Please remember these locations are based on where we have personally found the insects, so they may be found in additional areas.
It stands to reason that some of the rarer bugs likely have a chance of appearing in the same locations as the more common variants.
