Fortnitefans have noticed that Eminem’s infamously fast rapping abilities are seemingly too much for some of the game’s audio-reactive skins to handle, as it appears to be breaking them.
After months of rumours and teasing about Fortnite’s next event, Epic Games finally confirmed earlier this week that Fortnite: OG’s season-ending finale will be called the “Big Bang”. Rumours suggest that it and the subsequentChapter 5 are going to be a huge deal for the game, but that’s small fries compared to the biggest news to come out of the announcement -Eminem is coming to the Island.
Alongside announcing the big event,Epic Games revealed that Marshall Mathers is going to be getting three unique skins when he joins Fortnite on November 29and that he’s also going to play a role in the event’s concert. Until then, though, he’s currently taking over Fortnite’s radio, which means that players can hop in and listen to classics like Godzilla and Venom with most of the fun swears removed. Yay.
As much as that sounds like the perfect way to listen to Eminem, it seems that Fortnite isn’t quite ready for the power of the Real Slim Shady.Over on Twitter, Shanyshdw shared a clip of themselves playing Fortnite and driving around the Island with the audio-reactive Goosebumps wrap equipped over their vehicle.
As Godzilla plays, the Goosebumps wrap, which is audio-reactive and moves in time to the beat, starts to violently pulse as the song speeds up, eventually just giving up completely as the song speeds up to infamously fast levels. For those that don’t know, the audio-reactive wraps and skins usually just pulse a little bit and move around to the beat, but if that beast is at Godzilla or, god forbid, Rap God levels, then it’s apparently just going to freak out.
Some fans think that Eminem’s concert might actually have something to do with the Island breaking during the Big Bang event, which now makes a lot more sense considering he’s already messing up some of the game’s skins.
We still don’t really have any idea how Eminem is going to be involved in the Big Bang event just yet, but it might be worth expecting any audio-reactive wraps that you have equipped to simply be defeated in the face of Eminem’s raw power.
