Super Mario WonderHas several secrets you must discover if you want to explore the game entirely. One of those secrets lies in the First World, exactly, in the level named Bulrush Express. If you go through it until the end and then use Elephant Mario to break a wall of bricks, you’ll reach a new zone with three new levels.
One of those levels is named Cosmic Hoppos, and it features the cute Hoppos and all their abilities. The Flower Coins and Wonder Seeds in this level can be hard to acquire, though.
Flower Coins In Cosmic Hoppos
These Flower Coins aren’t well-hidden; you can see them from far away. The issue with them is thatyou must do tricky jumps to reach them.
First Flower Coin
You’ll see the first Flower Coin near the start of the level,trapped between two bits of thin floor.There’s a Dark Cloud and a Hoppo in the same zone, so first,defeat the Dark Cloud so it doesn’t get in your way.Now, reach the Hoppo and hit it tomake it fall.It won’t get stuck anywhere, so you need to jump on it while it moves to reach the coin.
It’s not enough to only bounce on it;you need to jump on the Hoppo to reach the coin.
Step on the wall at the left and wait for the Hoppo to get near you. It’s the easiest way to reach the Flower Coin.
Second Flower Coin
This coin is near the first one;it’s on a bit of thin floor at the wall on the right.You’ll see the coin if you continue as usual through the level.
Getting the coin is complicated asyou need to jump on the Dark Cloud floating near the coin to reach it.The Dark Cloud willconstantly move back and forth, so first, it’s recommended to watch the cloud moving a couple of times so you get used to its timing.
The best moment to jump at the Dark Cloud and land on it iswhen the cloud is directly under one of the wallsyou can see at thetopof your screen.Wait until it starts moving to the right and jump at it, then jump again when you land on it to reach the coin.
Third Flower Coin
The last Flower Coin of the level is hidden; you must be attentive to the stage and advanceuntil you see a hallway at the left.You know you are there asyou’ll see a Hoppo walking in that hallway.
Hit the Hoppo to send it rolling out of your way, then go through the hallway. The first thing you’ll see is the Coin, butyou can’t reach it as it’s very high.Advance further, andyou’ll see a couple of Hoppos walking on “?” Blocks.You must follow some steps so you don’t go through the annoyance of losing a Hoppo:
If you do that, the Hoppos will roll to the right, andthey’ll get stuck in their respective holes, allowing you to reach the coin.
The Hoppos will respawn if you run to the right and then come back. Also,if you hit the “?” Blocks, they’ll get solid, so you can’t jump under them again.If that’s the case, you must jump over the platforms and spin with the “Y” button to make the Hoppos roll.
Wonder Seeds In Cosmic Hoppos
The Wonder Flower of this level is hidden towards the end of the level. Here’s how to find it:
First Wonder Seed
Reach the end of the level,but don’t use the flag post.You’ll seea dubious hole next to the flag post; a Hoppo can fit there.Go to the left, and you’ll see a Hoppo you can fit in another hole. Do it, andyou’ll find a secret zone with a Hoppo;make it roll, and it’ll get to the dubious hole by itself.
Now, jump on it, land on the wall, do a couple of wall jumps,and you’ll reach a new zone.Here, you’ll see a Hoppo, a couple of snails, and some sparkles in the wall at the left;hit the Hoppo to make it fall in a hole, then reach one of the snails and roll it towards the Hoppo.It’ll land on the shining, revealing the Wonder Flower.
As you pick it up and jump on the Hoppo, you’ll start flying until you reach the space.You’ll be floating while the screen scrolls; the Wonder Seed is at the end.
Second Wonder Seed
After grabbing the first Wonder Seed, you’ll fall to the ground again, landing near the Wonder Flower location.Complete the level, and you’ll get the Second Wonder Seed.
