How To Play As HAN-D
HAN-D is a slow bruiser that cansustain attacks using his healing Droneswhile pummeling enemies with Hurt and Forced Reassembly. HAN-D’s playstyle revolves around tanking hits while damaging enemies, then using Drone - Heal to recover after or during the battle.
HAN-D’s unique Drones are the central mechanic of his kit. Drones are onlygained upon killing enemies, making them harder to maintain in fights against single targets like bosses or lone Elite enemies. Because of this, try to always have at least five Drones stocked up.
This will let youheal up quicklyif you take a big hit, but also keep you low enough of Drones that you won’t “waste” any if you kill too many enemies. Drones should also be used periodically in larger packs of enemies tosustain your healthwhile adding some extra damage.
Disassemblereplaces HAN-D’s hammer with a giant saw, dealingmultiple instances of damageover the duration of the attack. The number of hits Disassemble dealsincreases with attack speed, meaninghigher attack speed equals higher damage.
This makesDrone - SpeedandDrone - Blastvery good options to pair with Disassemble. Drone - Speed willincrease your attack speed when activating a Drone, leading to more Disassemble hits, whileDrone - Blast will extend the duration of Overclock, which also increases attack speed.
Overclock drastically increases HAN-D’s attack speed and chance to stun, and the duration of Overclock is extended when hitting enemies. Use Overclock when fighting multiple enemies for the best outcome.
However, choosing Speed or Blast will meanlosing Drone - Heal, which is a pretty big hit to HAN-D’s survivability. For a more offensive-oriented build, Speed and Burst are definitely better choices. Just keep in mind that you’ll probably wantmore healing items to compensate.
