Destiny 2’sSeason of the Wish has added dozens of new weapons to the sandbox, ranging from fan-favorite reprisals to entirely new weapons. This season’s ritual weapon sits firmly in the latter category. Chivalric Fire is the first Void Sword with a Caster Frame.

How To Obtain Chivalric Fire
Chivalric Fire may be obtained by reaching Rank 16 with any ritual vendor.This includes Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, and the Drifter. Zavala oversees Vanguard Ops and Nightfalls, the core PvE playlists of Destiny 2. Lord Shaxx runs the Crucible, and the Drifter runs Gambit. Playing any of these game types will slowly build reputation progress towards that activity’s respective vendor.
Outside of waiting for double reputation weeks, it’s best tostick with a single playlist.Gambit is arguably the fastest playlist if you have a good team, but solo players will find better success with rotating PvP playlists and Hero-tier Nightfalls.

Chivalric Fire Ornaments
Chivalric Fire features the same ornament system as previous ritual weapons.Each ritual vendor has a unique ornament for Chivalric Fire,allowing you to further customize the weapon. Leveling each vendor is how you earn these ornaments in Season of the Wish, but for future seasons, you can purchase these ornaments for the Exotic Kiosk in the Tower.
Vanguard Warmth (Vanguard)
Vanguard Warmth is the Vanguard ornament for Chivalric Fire,obtained by resetting your Vanguard Rank before reaching Rank 16 with Zavala again.This can take quite some time due to how Vanguard Ranks scale, but farming Nightfalls should make this grind go slightly faster.
Phoenix Flame (Crucible)
The Crucible ornament for Chivalric Fire is Phoenix Flame.you may earn this ornament by reaching Rank 16 with Lord Shaxx after resetting your Valor Rank.Your Glory Rank from Competitive PvP doesnotcontribute to Shaxx’s main reward track; stick to the core playlists.
Drifting Blaze (Gambit)
Gambit fans can earn the Drifting Blaze ornament uponresetting their Infamy Rank and reaching Rank 16 with The Drifter a second time.Consecutive Gambit matches is the fastest way of ranking up, with wins granting slightly more progress than loses.

Chivalric Fire is aVoidCaster Frame Sword, releasing an explosive projectile with its heavy attack. This weapon is focused on utility rather than raw damage.Relentless StrikesandAttrition Orbswill let you spawn multiple Orbs of Power by rapidly attacking foes. What’s more interesting isRepulsor BracewithDestabilizing Rounds, allowing you togenerate a Void Overshieldusing just this weapon.
While this weapon doesn’t push the boundaries of Sword DPS, the utility perks on offer here are solid for newcomers or PvP players that don’t have a good Repulsor Brace weapon.
