The Belly of the Beast quest inCyberpunk 2077follows your journey to reach the Mikoshi access point with Panam and the Aldecados. After your attack at the Militech construction site in the ‘Forward to Death’ quest, you must go deeper into the Arasaka tower to reach the Mikoshi with Saul and Panam.
You must connect Alt to the tower’s mainframe during the quest to clear a path ahead. The quest takes place at the lower levels of Arasaka Tower, which you infiltrate using the construction site’s drilling machine.
How To Enter Arasaka Tower In Belly Of The Beast Quest
The Belly of the Beast queststarts automaticallyafter you enter the tunnel entrance by the end of the Forward to Death quest in The Star, the ending choice in Cyberpunk 2077. After a short dialogue with Panam,exit the panzer and approach Mitch and Saulin front of the large staircase.
The Belly of the Beast quest is apart of the Star endingwhere you ask for Panam’s help infiltrating the Arasaka Tower. You can not get this quest if you choose a different ending.
After you approach the two men, there will be a briefdialogue between the characters, after which Mitch will take the panzer to help the Aldecados fight the Militech at the construction site. Once the conversation is over,follow Panam and climb onto the SERCto operate it.
After two flights of stairs,enter the control roomon the right side and Jack into the console. The SERC will automaticallyadvance toward your destinationbefore finally crashing into the Arasaka building, creating an opening you can use toenter the structure.
How To Reach The Access Terminal In Belly Of The Beast Quest
When youenter the Arasaka Tower, you will find yourself in a room full of Seismic Dampers, indicating that you must find a way to the upper levels to get to the Mikoshi. Luckily,there is a maintenance shaftnearby, which a ladder can access.
Watch out for the group ofArasaka Security Robots patrolling the area. Depending on your playstyle, you can let them pass through to reach the ladder or attack them unexpectedly.
On your left, you willfind a yellow ladderon the right side of the large closed gate. Climb this ladder and move through the room on your left to finallyreach the maintenance shaftandclimb up once moreto get to the upper level.
When youreach the upper level, you will see a message on your screen, ‘Relic Malfunction Detected,' causing V to fall, indicating he doesn’t have much time left.
Once you reach the upper levels, you canhear two guards talkingin the room next door. Saul will also spot an access terminal on the desk, which can be used tofind a way to the Mikoshi.
How To Reach The Security Room In Belly Of The Beast Quest
After youeliminate the guardsguarding the access terminal, Saul will tell you that you must lift the security lockdown on Arasaka Tower to access the Mikoshi. So,use the staircase on the rightside of the access terminal to get to the security room.
You can easilystealth kill the two guardsguarding the access terminal in the room. Wait for them to stop talking and slowlyapproach the guard nearthe terminal to take her down while Panam deals with the second guard.
Once youhead down to the security section, you’re able to see all the employees and guards surrounded by alarms and sirens. You must get to the smaller room on your right touse the Alt shardin the access point.
This area is filled with security guards, who can be avoided byfollowing the right wallif you want to go the stealth route, but always be on the lookout for nearby guards. If you want to fight,ensure you have sufficient resourcesto eliminate the guards and the reinforcements next door.
Once youinsert Alt’s shard into the access point, she’ll start clearing your way forward. All you have to do now is follow your waypoints to progress further.
How To Complete The Belly Of The Beast Quest
As Alt warns you about theelite unit following you, you will encounter a closed door, which can be lifted with Saul’s Help. While you open the door,Adam Smasher will attack youfrom behind, followed by an explosion that will launch you into the next room.
Adam Smasher will kill Saulat this point, which is a scripted death. Youcannot save SaulfromAdam Smasher. However, Panam cannot be killed.
Adam Smasher is thelast boss of the gameand the last enemy you’ll face before reaching the Mikoshi Acsess Point. He hasmultiple combat phasesand a diverse range of attacks, so he definitely won’t go down without a fight.
Ensure you are adequately geared up bylooting nearby dead enemiesbefore encountering Adam Smasher.
Once you have defeated Adam Smasher, you canhead to the Mikoshi Access Pointwith Panam and finally end the quest. Before you connect to the Mikoshi, you will have anoptional dialogue with Panamto say your final goodbyes.
After you connect, you will find yourselfin the elevatoryou saw at the end of the Nocturne Op 55N1 mission, where youwill encounter Jackieor his necklace, depending on what you decide to do with his body. After blacking out at the rooftop, you willmeet Alt and JohnnySilverhand in Cyberspace.
