Bluey has quickly been taking over the world, so it was only a matter of time before the animated blue dog and her family got their very first video game. Bluey: The Videogame launched last Friday, getting quite a bit of attention despite arriving on the same day asSuper Mario RPG. That’s probably because, unlike the latest Mario remake, Bluey is available on all platforms and appeals to a slightly different demographic. My four-year-old played a little Super Mario RPG over the weekend and fell off pretty quickly.

He had no such trouble with Bluey, and even though it’s a relatively short game, its sandbox elements and replayability make it well worth $40. Don’t believe me? Maybe paying just $25 for what is only a three-day-old game will win you around. ThePS4version of Bluey: The Videogame is already down to $24.99 onAmazonas the retailer continues to cut prices of games across various platforms heading into Black Friday weekend.

Bluey: The Videogame

WHERE TO PLAY

Bluey is finally getting her very own video game. The star of the Australian kids' show and the rest of her family are playable characters in Bluey: The Videogame.

Unfortunately, Bluey on all other platforms is still full price, and it doesn’t appear to have been reduced elsewhere. If you own aPS5though, you may still pick up and play the currently far cheaper PS4 version of the game and play it on your current-gen console. Even better, as far as I’m aware, the only difference between the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game is the box it comes in. If you don’t mind having a PS4 game nestled among your PS5 titles, then you can save yourself $15.

If you’re also after a newSwitchgame for less, there have been reports ofGameStop price-matching customers on Super Mario RPG. Currently $60 pretty much everywhere, some lucky gamers have discovered Staples is selling the brand newNintendogame for just $40. The even luckier among them have then taken proof of that price point toGameStopand then shared evidence of the retailer selling them Super Mario RPG for $20 less than it is everywhere else.

The Super Mario RPG price match at GameStop appears to be a case-by-case basis, and the sales assistant you get may well determine whether you get the game for less. Others have reported getting the same deal at Target, and Best Buy has a price match policy if you’d like to try your luck there.

There’ll be a lot of video game deals going live over the coming days as we march forth towards Black Friday weekend, and then even more of them once the weekend is finally upon us.
