What Is Mist Used For?
In A Rift In Time,Dreamlight is no longer the most vital resource. Instead, you’ll need to complete new tasks to earn a new resource: Mist.Mist is the equivalent of Dreamlight in Eternity Isle. You can use to tounlock new areason the map, which leads to more resources.
Mist will need to be gathered in large quantities, as itcosts several thousand Mist to unlock the beginning areasfor quests likeThe Tower with Rapunzel. Without Mist, your adventure in Eternity Isle is short.
Best Ways To Earn Mist
There are several ways you may earn Mist to help expand your exploration efforts. They can often be combined to gather even more mist and help unlock the map faster.
Complete Mist Duties And Milestones
Similar to Dreamlight Duties, Mist Duties can be completed toearn a sum of Mistin one go. From tasks likeremoving Splinters of Fate to planting a certain number of vegetables, you cancomplete these tasks dailyto earn more Mist.
Sometimes the game will register Dreamlight Valley milestones as Enterity Isle milstones (like planting vegetables), so you can earn the rewards anyways!
Milestones can also be completedfor larger sums of Mist. Fromfeeding the animals to finding partsand gifts with your Royal Hourglass, thesemilestones can scalefor even more Mist as a reward.
Use the Royal Hourglass
TheRoyal Hourglass can be used to search for Mist, just like it can be used tosearch for treasures and items while Timebending. Once anarea is out of treasures, a prompt will appear telling you to search elsewhere, but you cancome back later.
Setting yournew villagers roles to Timebendingallows you to get a bonus as well.
They can find more times when bending, whichscales with how many villagers have the skill. Leveling them to max friendship level will also increase the odds, making it a useful role to have.
