Diamonds can reliably be found for sale bythe ore merchant in Goron Cityfor 1,000 Rupees each, by defeating the Stone Talus enemy, or by completing Shrines.

5Simply Sell Them

A Quick And Considerable Cash Injection

Sometimes the best solution there is to a problem is the simplest one. Diamonds, as you might expect, can be sold for a high price in the various marketplaces of Hyrule, where they can be traded in for 500 rupees apiece. If you don’t mind missing out on the opportunity to make use of them in other ways, that is.

They can be an invaluable way to swiftly boost your income, particularly if found in the early stages of the game when rupees are scarce and upgrade materials are less necessary. If you’re interested in maximizing your profits, sets of 10 Diamonds at a time can periodically be sold to Ramella in Goron City for an impressive 5,500 rupees. If you really need the money, this is the best deal you’re going to get using your precious Diamonds.

4Fuse Them

Craft Some Powerful Diamond Weapons

Diamonds, as with the variety of other materials and items that can be found throughout the realm of Hyrule, can be fused onto weapons to increase their attack power. Fusing Diamond to a weapon will increase that weapon’s attack power by a respectable 25 points, which is good but ultimately beaten out by other materials. Those will typically be even more uncommon commodities, however, making Diamond a bit more practical to use for the purpose.

When you’re in need of a powerful weapon on the fly, perhaps to meet a sudden challenge you may not have anticipated, this fusion is an excellent choice. In the long run, however, using Diamonds for this purpose does not tend to be the most economical of choices when compared to other potential applications, so try not to rely on doing so too often. When you do, attempt to fuse them with a weapon that’s already of considerable strength to maximize your gains.

3Upgrade The Diamond Circlet

Offers Considerable Defense For A Big Diamond Investment

TheDiamond Circletis a piece of armor worn in the headgear slot, offering a base Defense of 4 and a bonus of 1 to attack power. It can be purchased after a certain point in the game from Starlight Memories, the jewelry store located in Gerudo Town, for a total cost of 2,400 Rupees. Once you have successfully obtained it, the Diamond Circlet can then be upgraded by visiting one of thefour Great Fairy Fountains.

Each level of these upgrades will cost more Diamonds to attain, along with the other requisite materials and, of course, a modest rupee cost. When fully upgraded, the Diamond Circlet boasts a considerable 28 defense, making it a good option for those with the Diamonds to spare. It’s a significant investment, though.

A Fully Upgraded, Glittering Armor Set Will Require Lots Of Diamonds Too

On their own, each piece of the armor set will help to light up your surroundings, with every additional piece equipped bolstering the effect. TheShining Stepsset bonus applies once each piece of the set is upgraded to two stars or more, which requires no Diamonds to acquire. The final tier of upgrades for each of the individual segments of this armor set, however, will require Diamonds to obtain, ultimately coming in at a total of nine Diamonds needed to upgrade the entire set.

1Obtain The Champion Weapons

One of the best and most meaningful applications of Diamonds in the game is using them to createthe Champion Weapons. In total there are four of them, each requiring a certain set of questing requirements and materials to craft. The Champion Weapons are as follows: theGreat Eagle Bow, theScimitar of the Sevenand theDaybreakershield, theLightscale Trident, and theBoulder Breaker.

As a rule, each of the five different Champion Weapons will require some amount of Diamonds in their creation (three, four, three, and three respectively), along with other assorted materials and weapons. If broken, the Champion Weapons can be obtained once more by crafting them again, which will in turn require the original crafting materials (which means even more Diamonds).
