InEA Sports FC 24and previousFIFAtitles alike, one of the most rewarding ways to play is to lead an underdog team to glory in Career Mode. Whether you prefer to take a League 2 side all the way to the Premier League or pick a heavyweight and spend ludicrous amounts of cash,it’s always a good idea to keep an eye out for a bargain.
These players might not all become core members of the first team once you start winning trophies, but they’ll never throw a fit about not getting enough game time like your top earners, and they’ll turn in a capable performance even at the highest level. Whether you’re an underdog looking for a bargain star signing, or a big team looking to round out your squad, here are the best bargains under £10 Million in EA Sports FC 24.

We’ve selected these players based on a variety of factors, including stats and potential.
8Antonio Nusa
Norwegian 18-year-old Antonio Nusa signed for Belgian heavyweights Club Brugge in 2021, following impressive displays for Stabæk in Norway’s Eliteserien. Starting the game with a 69 Overall, Nusa’s comparatively low rating belies some impressive stats, with great speed and agility on the ball, alongside impressive ball control.
Costing only £3m alongside negligible wages, the sky is the limit for Nusa, who became the Champions League’s youngest debut scorer in a 4-0 win over Porto, and recently netted his first for Norway’s senior National team. With an in-game potential of 87, the half-Nigerian winger offers plenty of style alongside his pace, boasting both four-star skill moves and weak foot.

7Olivier Giroud
Generational French forward Olivier Giroud is 36 by now, and his declining pace admittedly shows his age, but the Puskas Award winner remains a great option up front, especially considering his £8.9m price tag. Though his initial 82 Overall will gradually decrease as he continues to age, and he may not give you more than a season or two, Giroud’s ball control, finishing ability, and aerial domination make him a worthy signing.
Although he won’t breeze past defenders, or even outpace them at all, playing with France’s all-time leading goal scorer will prove that there’s more to EA Sports FC, and indeed to football, than just outrunning your opponent. Plus, who doesn’t love a good veteran signing?

6Julien Duranville
Recently signed by Borussia Dortmund from Anderlecht, 17-year-old attacker Julien Duranville is the latest in a long line of promising talents to sign at the German club, who have earned a reputation as youth development experts. Befitting his promise, the versatile teenager begins the game with a 66 Overall, making him immediately useful to any second tier team in Europe’s major leagues.
Like Nusa, Duranville’s potential sees him reach a world-beating 87 rating, at which point he’ll become the bane of defenders worldwide. Although attributes like passing, crossing and stamina could use some work, this young starlet has plenty of time to develop, and can more than justify the £6.2m release clause Dortmund have implemented.

5Juan Sforza
At 21 years of age, Newell’s Old Boysdefensive midfielder Juan Sforzahas played multiple seasons in Argentina’s Liga Profesional, becoming a fixture in the first team. Though he’ll begin the game with a modest 70 Overall, Sforza is nonetheless clearly held in high regard, as his potential rating is an impressive 84.
Sforza might not reach quite the same heights as other young prospects on this list, but at £3.1m it’s hard to go wrong with the energetic Argentine midfielder, even if he might not always start. Real life rumours of prospective big transfers are yet to yield fruit, but could you be the manager to unlock Juan Sforza’s potential?

4Giorgio Scalvini
Though only 19 years of age, Atalanta centre back Giorgio Scalvini already stands at a towering 6’4” boasting an impressive 75 Overall. Valued at £9.8m at the beginning of career mode, Scalvini’s prodigal talent sees him nearly escape this list’s criteria, though he’s definitely worth the price.
This gangly giant is best suited to cutting out opposition attacks, with his on-the-ball attributes initially leaving something to be desired. Despite this, his initial 75 rating makes Scalvini a unique talent among the other bargains you’ll find, as he’s already first-team material for many top-flight teams. Plus, with his lofty 86 potential, Giorgio is sure to develop into a well-rounded defender, and a regular international for Italy.

3Evan Ferguson
A powerhouse of an attacker, 19-year-old Evan Ferguson has burst onto the scene since joining Brighton’s academy from League of Ireland stalwarts Bohemians in January 2021. By the year’s end, the then 17-year-old was making appearances in Premier League matchday squads and made his league debut soon after.
Befitting his potential, Ferguson begins EA Sports FC 24 with a 74 Overall, and can reach a lofty 86, an excellent return for a player initially valued at only £8.5m. Despite this, negotiations over the Irish starlet may be fraught, as Albion are unlikely to part with Ferguson without a fight, as the teen currently averages a Premier League goal every 103 minutes.

2Edoardo Bove
Roma substitute Edoardo Bove is a 21-year-old Italian mezzala with excellent on-the-ball ability, and a balanced skill set that makes him equally adept as a crafty playmaker or a tenacious ball-winner. Though young, Bove is highly regarded by his club, with several seasons of senior football already under his belt alongside a number of youth international caps.
Beginning Career Mode with a 74 Overall, Bove’s initial value is only £8.1m. For this price, you’ll get a technically adept midfielder in the mould of Sandro Tonali, with a promising passing range and a tenacious aggression to his game. Should you take a gamble on Bove, you’ll soon be rewarded as he rapidly improves to reach a capable 85 Overall.

1Rico Lewis
Another youngster impressing in the Premier League is Manchester City’s Rico Lewis, an 18-year-old academy product already in his second season of senior football with the reigning English and European champions. Though already the youngest-ever treble winner, Lewis can achieve much more as he progresses in Career Mode, rising from his initial 74 Overall to a potential of 87.
Persuading City to let their young talent go will be no mean feat, as might convincing Lewis, a lifelong Manchester City fan, to join your club, but the promise of regular game time and increased wages should do enough to seal the deal. For as little as £8.1m, you’ll get a promising young left back with talent, technique, and defensive ability who’ll quickly grow into a core team member.
