Just like how having Relics on your characters inHonkai: Star Railis key to having strong characters, it’s just as important for them to have Planar Ornaments equipped too. These special, two-piece relic sets give more stat boosts, and provide unique effects, like boosting Effect Rate or giving bonus abilities based on how high your stats are.
One of these is Sprightly Vonwacq, and it’s one of the few ways to increase Energy Regeneration Rate. The higher your Energy Regeneration Rate is, the faster you’ll get your Ultimate, and that’s exactly what you want for characters with healing or buffing Ultimates.
What Is Sprightly Vonwacq?
Sprightly Vonwacq is one of themany Planar Ornament setsyou canobtain from the Simulated Universe, and it’s aperfect choice for many different Paths.
You canobtain the Sprightly Vonwacqrelic set fromSimulated Universe: World Four, which isunlocked once you complete Simulated Universe: World Threeon any difficulty.
It can fitHarmony characterslikeBronya,Abundance characterslikeNatasha, and a handful ofPreservation characterslikeGepard.
This Planar Ornament’s primary goal isincreasing Energy Regeneration Rate. The stat determineshow much energy you gain per action, such as attacking,using a skill, or receiving damage.

Increases the wearer’sEnergy Regeneration Rate by five percent. When the wearer’sSPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’saction is Advanced Forward by 40 percentimmediately upon entering battle.

Each time she uses her Ultimate, Bronya will beincreasing your entire party’s attackbyover 45 percent at maximum level, as well as theirCrit Damage by a percentage of her own,making any DPS you’re running alongside herinto even more of a powerhouse than they might already be.
Bronya’s abilities can alsohelp your damage outputstay higheven if you’re lacking good relicsfor your DPS characters.

Like many Abundance characters,Bailu’sbest skill is her Ultimate, as itrestores your entire party’s HPandprovides them with Invigoration, a passive status effect whichheals them by a small amount when they get hit.
Keeping Invigoration upon your team can seriouslyhelp out in long fightswhere the enemies get lots of turns,like if you’re up against Bosses, and the base healing it does is great too.
HavingSprightly Vonwacqon toboost Bailu’s Energy Regeneration Ratemeansmore healing and more Invigorationfor your team.
Ice
Ruan Mei’s Ultimate, Petals to Stream, Repose in Dream, hastwo amazing effectsfor the price of one: not only does itincrease your teammate’s All-Type resistanceto help them take less damage, but it alsocauses the Thanatoplum Rebloom effecton attacked enemies.
Thanatoplum Rebloomtriggers when enemies recover from Weakness Break, and itextends Weakness Break durationon them as well asdoes some damage.
Like Bronya, you’llwant her Ultimate up as often as possible, not only for the damage resistance, but also for theWeakness Break duration increase.
This isespecially usefulforbosses who go into a significant downtime or weak statewhen broken.Equip her with Sprightly Vonwacq, and you’ll keep her field up for most of any battle.
Huohuois not only anamazing healer, but sheprovides several useful buffsfor your party as well with her Ultimate, Tail: Spiritual Domination. It gives the entire party anattack buff of up to 43.2 percent, and if that wasn’t already good enough, itregenerates up to 21 percent of their Max Energy.
Tail: Spiritual Domination’senergy generation doesn’t apply to Huohuoherself, but shedoes get the attack boost.
Huohuohelps her allies cast their Ultimates even quicker, and can easily provide an effect of having better Energy Regeneration Rate statswithout sacrificing their damage to equip relics for it.
Put Sprightly Vonwacq on her, and thatEnergy Regeneration Rate increasemeans she canget her Ultimate within a few attack or skill uses.
Preservation
Gepard providesone of the best shields in the game, but unlike characters likeMarch 7thorFu Xuan,his shieldcanonly becreated by using his Ultimate. All characters want their Ultimate used frequently, but for Gepard,his main utilityeven more sorelies on frequent Ultimate use.
Since Geparddoesn’t have a taunt, and youmay not be building him with speedstats, you’ll want whatattacks and skill-usehe does do toget as much energy as possible.
Sprightly Vonwacqhelps him get that additional Energy, and itcan roll with either Defense or Energy Regeneration Rates, so youwon’t be losing outmuch by equipping it.
If you arebuilding Gepard to have high speed, you’ll get thesecondary set bonus effect in additionto the base one from Sprightly Vonwacq, and get his shield as soon as battle starts.
Tingyunis one of thebest 4-star characters in the game, both in general and as a support unit. Besides having a good support skill, she’sone of the few unitswho’s able toincrease or otherwise affect the Energy of another characterwith her Ultimate, Amidst the Rejoicing Clouds.
Her Ultimaterestores 50 Energy to an ally, and givesup to a 56 percent Attack increaseto the same ally, making her afantastic enabler for DPS characterslikeJingliuandDr. Ratio.
Even though Tingyun has a Technique thathelps restore her own energy, she isunable use her Ultimate on herself.
Like other Support characters, you’llwant Tingyun to keep using her Ultimateon your DPS characters, or even on others for the Energy boost, so you’llwant the Energy Regeneration Rate Sprightly Vonwacq givesto her.
Fire
Astamay not be as great of a support character as others, but she’sstill a powerful unitin her own rightthanks to her Ultimate.
Atmaximum Trace level, Asta will beboosting your team’s speed by 52.8 percent, which can mean the difference between yourhealer getting to heal a character in time, or someone on your team dying.
Even if things aren’t so dire, Asta’s speed boost meansmore frequent turnsand thusmore overall damagefor your team, and it helps her out as well.
Astagenerates Charging Stacksthatboost her team’s attackevery time shehits different enemies with her skill, Meteor Storm.
With aslightly higher Energy cost for her Ultimatethan some other Harmony characters, the extra Energy Regeneration Rate given bySprightly Vonwacq can make that cost less problematic.
Quantum
Lynxis afantastic healer, not just for heroutright healing ability, but she canconsistently remove debuffsfrom her teamwith her Ultimatewhile healing them.
Her great kit allows her to use many Relics, butLynx, with Sprightly Vonwacq equipped,is a sleeper hit.
She’ll get her Ultimate quickly, and she’ll be able toremove debuffs from everyone every few turns, which isextremely helpful against certain bosseslike Cocolia, Aurumaton Spectral Envoy, and Kafka.
